Your computer´s random-access memory (RAM) stores most of the information your operating system and applications need to process. Therefore, the availability of RAM space is crucial for system performance. However, some programs may not free the memory they have been using and no longer need. Consequently RAM capacity is wasted. Wise Memory Optimizer can scan the memory and recover misused space.

The tool has a straightforward interface in which you just need to press a button to execute the program´s only function. From the main window, it is possible to monitor the amount of used and free memory. This allowed me to see that the free memory space on my computer increased in about a 15% of the total capacity every time I ran the optimizer.

When you press the Settings button, the main window expands and allows configuring other options. For instance, you can set the application to start along with the system and minimize to the System Tray. More importantly, you can configure the tool to automatically start optimizing when the free memory falls below a given amount. Besides, you can ask the program to do it only when the processor is idle.

To sum up, Wise Memory Optimizer is a simple small application that is effective in boosting the available RAM memory. However, you should know that similar features are available from more complete system optimizers.
