Pre registration for RuffleCon 2014 is open!!  Weekend passes are $75 from now till May 31st.  You can get a Saturday pass for $45 or a Sunday pass for $35. A Pass guarantees you access to RuffleCon for either a single day or the weekend, depending on the type of Pass you purchased. This grants you access to attend all of our events<\/span>* as well as shopping with the vendors at our Marketplace<\/span> and Consignment Room<\/span>. This is standard and is included no matter what Pass you buy. <\/span>For those of you who like a little extra frill with your con we are offering special VIP passes!  There are only 50 of these available.  With a VIP pass you'll get: a VIP lapel pin, RuffleCon 2014 Official Tote Bag, a deluxe goodie bag filled with sponsored brand and artist items, early access to the Marketplace shopping areas and consignment room, access to the VIP room (offering food, beverage, and a place to relax), <\/span><\/span>

Now you've got your tickets and your room what are you going to see?  We've confirmed Dame Darcy as a vendor and presenter.  She will also be performing at our Masquerade Ball with her band Dame Darcy and <\/span>Faeiryteeth!  Also signed on as vendor and presenter TheSnow Field.  She's also been wonderful enough to sit on our judges panel for the <\/span>variety <\/font>show.  Also in our Marketplace you'll find Belladonna.  We've got lots more surprises up our sleeves so stay tuned for more guest announcements.

RuffleCon<\/a> is a conference held in New Haven, CT devoted to followers of cute, elegant alternative fashion in the Northeastern USA.  RuffleCon is brought to you by a handful of alternative fashion enthusiasts who have been involved in the local community for years (over a decade, for some of us).  We have been brought together by our love for lolita, goth, steampunk, or any other fashion from a rather shockingly long list, but one thing that unites us all is our commitment to creating for our communities an open, accepting forum devoted to the elegant, alternative fashion and its followers.  We are dedicated to creating an atmosphere of learning and exploring within fashions new and old, and of course having fun while we’re at it!

The first year of the conference will be held the weekend of October 4th and 5th, 2014.  For a venue we've chosen the Omni Hotel and Resort <\/a>and is located in beautiful and historic down town New Haven.  We will be able to offer a special rate to those attending RuffleCon.<\/span>

What's going on at RuffleCon?  We'll have a variety of panels and workshops of course.  We also are planning a fashion show<\/a>, a masquera<\/a><\/span><\/font>de ball<\/a>, and a high tea<\/a> to name a few.  We are also working on a great list of special guests and presenters. <\/span>

We are currently taking applications for vendors for our Marketplace. <\/span><\/font>Because it is important for us to provide variety both for our attendees and our dealers\/artists, differently-sized vending packages are available depending on your budget or store size. <\/span>Have a piece you’ve (gently) loved, but decided to part ways with?  The Consignment Room is the place to go.  Bring any used pieces which are in good condition and let us sell them for you; alternatively, if you’re looking for a great deal on some new threads, come mine some wardrobe gold! <\/span>
