Hey guys and ghouls!
Do you like drawing on your unsuspecting friends' faces when they're asleep or passed out? Me too! Luckily, I've learned to channel those impulses into something more constructive, like FACE PAINTING!
So, as a fun feature this year, we'll be offering face painting for charity at two different times in the con suite:
The first session will be on
Friday from 5:30-7. This is a DROP-IN face painting time, meaning it's on a first-come, first-served basis. Are you planning a big adventure Friday night? Do you want something pretty to adorn your face for karaoke? How about something silly to wear to your SPN viewing? Stop by any time between 5:30-7 and I will dude you up!
The second session will be on
Saturday from 6-7:30, right before Winprom. This is the session you need to
SIGN UP BELOW for, okay? I will only be taking the first
fifteen people who reply to this post asking for a reservation spot. After that, the only way you'll be able to get your face painted before Winprom will be if you hang around my table and wait to see if there are cancellations or if I finish faces early and find myself with some extra time. I would love to paint everybody's face, but alas, time is not on our side! SO GRAB YOUR SPOT.
For both sessions, prices are as follows:
$3 for a
cheek design$5 for a small
single eye design
$7 for a
large eye design (includes half butterflies)
$10 for a
mask (includes butterflies)
$15 for a
full faceThose are all just examples--you'll be able to request what you like. If you have something specific in mind, don't worry, I can probably paint it. I'm pretty awesome. You can even PM me or e-mail me (aggy . bird @ gmail . com) ahead of time if you're unsure. My table and I will be easy to spot because I will look pretty much like
this.
As an aside, I will also have some theatrical paints handy, so if you're in need of being painted like a zombie or an undead hobo, or if you need some fake blood, scars, glitter, or water-activated blood powder (that shit is sweeeeeet) then you can stop by for that, too.
So come on, bring your cash and your unadorned faces and let me paint you for charity!
