Hey, y'all! So, a few things...
1) If you haven't registered yet for Wincon, we're still at our lowest rate of $100, but only for twelve more days. On February 1st, the price will graduate to $115. So if you want to jump on the early registration price of $100, here is the button for that:
2) We're on the hunt for someone who can manage the website graphics and the official logo for this year. Things fell through with the person we'd originally asked to do it (damn real life getting in the way!), so we need a *fast* turn over on this.
Basically, the specs we're looking for:
- an altered layout for http://omgwincon.com (mostly just altered colors/graphics to match the new theme)
- an official graphic for Wincon 2011 (prefered colors are Mardi Gras or aquatic - blues/greens)
- reboot of the logo featuring the \o/ with a crown or Mardi Gras mask or something else thematic of your choice.
If you want to come up with some ideas/samples for us to look at and email them to [email protected] by January 26th, we'll pick a winner and that winner will receive a free registration for Wincon 2011.
You can draw from the diverse culture of New Orleans as your theme and remember that our WinProm theme this year is Under the Sea!
