El Cid era Spanish light infantry
Almost the last of the box of HaT Spanish infantry produced an archer unit and three units of skirmishers (two javelin armed and one sling)
I would have liked a unit of crossbow but you only get four in a packet of ninety six!

El Cid era Spanish heavy infantry
I had painted the officers and standard bearers earlier as they came in the HaT command pack. I added the heavy infantry from their infantry pack to make up three units

El Cid Era Spanish
A bit of a whim purchase, I thought they would expand my range of options for using Lion Rampant. They do, and I've now ordered more foot to make up a bigger force (for now). The figures are all HaT from their El Cid range. Unfortunately most of the figures are still of their old bendy soft plastic.
In the meantime I have been getting the 3D resin printer back in action.....

Almoravid Skirmishers
The final batch of Saracens left over from my Crusades project have been completed as Almoravid skirmishers.

Almoravid Spearmen
I've added an extra three units to my Saracen army, but as I have more than enough for normal games so I painted them more similar to the Almoravids who fought in Spain.

Hospitaller and Templar Knights
A unit each of Hospitaller and Templar knights made from the Strelets Crusaders in oriental dress, which I think is more suitable for those staying longer in the middle east.
This makes my Hospitallers and Templars into small retinues of one unit each of knights, mounted sergeants, foot sergeants and crossbowmen.

Livonian cavalry
First part of catching up with February's painting, two units each of Mounted Sergeants and Turcopoles to support my Livonian Knights (Sword Brothers)

extras for Montgisard 1177
catching up with what was completed in time for the Montgisard game
My scratch built arab/bedouin camp
The Ayyubid Mamluks, these are HaT figures, I would rather have used Strelets Arab or Seljuk cavalry figures but they are no longer available
Another unit of Crossbowmen for the Kingdom of Jerusalem, made up of different sources.

Latest additions for the Crusades
I'm madly trying to finish everything I need for the game at Vapnartak. So during a brief pause here is what I managed before the end of January.
Two units of Mounted Sargeants, one for the Kingdom of jerusalem and the other for the order of St Lazurus, the patron saint of lepers of which Baldwin IV was one.
A couple more units of generic "Arab" cavalry from Strelets and a unit of Sudanese Archers fron HaT.
There is also a couple of ford sections I have added to my stream

Rebased Norman Cavalry
These are the last of my Norman Conquest rebased. The figures are a mix of Revell and Strelets.
The Bretons are really the Revell mounted Saxons with a few other Strelets
The Norman contingent with their two commanders Duke William and Bishop Odo
In addition to these there are another 18 Norman and 12 Breton cavalry that were based to my current standard when I painted them.

Rebased Norman Infantry
Continuing the Dark Age theme I have rebased all the Norman Foot to my current standard.
There are four units of spearmen, two of archers and one of skirmishers.
This just leaves the Cavalry to do

Rebased Saxons
It's been a while, but I was completing a major task, rebasing all my Saxons. The figures are mainly the old Revell ones, which aren't the best representation and also a number of Strelets.
There are 3 command stands, 6 units of huscarls (16), 8 units of Fyrde (16) and 3 units of skirmishing archers (8)
Of course, now having finished these I have to work on my Normans

Scottish schiltron
Always a bit slow with these with the varied colours in use. A couple more pike blocks built with the Strelets figures.
They look even better combined into with my older figures into one big pike block.

Crusader baggage
Something for my Crusaders to defend, their bagge train. Comprising both Strelets Crusader Transport sets and some extra resin printed mules.

Saracen light cavalry
This fills one of the gaps in my "saracen" army as I had no javelin armed light cavalry. THese Hat Andalusian figures meet that need. The two units are based up so I can deploy them as skirmishers by turning the bases thruogh 90 degrees.
Thanks to Graham for the figures.

Crusader skirmishers
These represent the range of local skirmishers available to the Crusader states. They were drawn from groups such as Armenians, Druze, Maronites, etc. armed with javelins, bows or slings.

Figures are from the HaT Almoravid Infantry and obviously they could also be used for Southern Spain and Sicily.
