I had one when I was very little.
Long ago in the days of the ancestors, some of the children of the people were having strange, frightening dreams. It was determined air could carry the dreams. A woman named Grandmother Spider, friend to a shaman, said she could weave a special web that only wanted dreams can escape down to the dreamer.
And so she did, and the first Dreamcatcher was made.
