Fox has picked up another comedy pilot!
''Keep Hope Alive'' will star Chicago-based actor Lucas Neff (recently seen in "Lucinda's Bed" at Chicago Dramatists) and Steppenwolf ensemble member Martha Plimpton, plus ''High School Musical'' star Olesya Rulin. Neff will play a 25-year-old guy with an infant -- the result of a one-night stand with a woman now sitting on Death Row. Plimpton will play Neff's mother, who gave birth to him at 16 and doesn't relish bringing up another baby. Rulin will be cast as a friendly waitress Neff's character thinks is perfect to help him with his kid.

I was rewatching HSM 3 with my girls last night and just noticed (I'm usually watching Ryan...) that during "High School Musical" Sharpay does a jazz square when she and Ryan are next to each other. (That is a jazz square right?) I thought that was kind of cute that they added that.

There's an artist on deviantART named David Kawena who's done a whole "beefcake" series of Disney heroes - these are mostly SFW renderings of Disney cartoon characters drawn as underwear models. The artwork is actually very stunning, and true to the heroes he's portraying. If you'd like to see his gallery, it's HERE. NOTE: Some of these have an adult rating, so unless you have a deviantART account (which is free!), those drawings will be forbidden for viewing.
The latest pin-up in his collection is #14 himself, Troy Bolton. If you'd like to see the drawing, it's HERE. Once at the page, if you click on the drawing, it will enlarge it. Heh...
I wonder if we could convince him to draw any of the other Wildcats? Chad in some mesh boxers? Ryan in a sparkly pair of briefs and a top hat? The possibilities are endless!

The High School Musical article on Fan History Wiki needs your help! The article is supposed to give a history of the fandom. At the moment, it isn't doing that very well. It only has very basic information. It needs more. Whatever information you can add, from a date added on the timeline to a fandom specific term to how big a fansite or community is, that would be really great!
Fan History also has a directory of High School Musical fans with 5,872 articles. The articles about members of the fandom are a neat way to promote yourself, people in the fandom you love and as a way of warning people away from wankers and other fandom trouble makers! They also help give an interesting picture of the fandom's history by showing which fandoms High School Musical fans came from, what fandoms they joined after leaving the High School Musical fandom, who the big name fans are, etc.

So for unrelated reasons I was trying to find pictures of the scene during "I Want it All" when Zeke, Ryan and Sharpay do the tango and I came across this picture:

Is that a cuss jar on top of the monitor? I could have sworn (haha!) that I read somewhere they had started to make Kenny pay up for cursing and the whole crew was in on it or something. Or it was for something else, not cussing. I can't remember! Does anyone know?
