Disclaimer: I don't own Sookie or Eric or the related things so don't sue me. I wouldn't mind being allowed to play with the viking though.
A/N: I haven't written fanfic in ages - don't stake me! Also, 'Christween' refers to Christmas mixed with Halloween.
Summary: Sookie has told Eric that he doesn't have any 'Christmas Spirit' so he sets about to change that.

Jesus Christ, Shephard of Judea, he had a Christmas tree.

I smiled that smile reserved only for the most nerve-wracking of occasions. Looking around Fangtasia, I noticed immediately that it was not only decorated in its usual macabre way (macabre was in my word-of-the-day today) but dotted in prime locations around the vampire bar were Christmas decorations. Actual Christmas decorations. Okay, they were kind of scary Christmas decorations but it was something.

"What do you think, my lover?" Eric asked, appearing suddenly at my side. "Am I not in the 'Christmas spirit'?" He obviously wanted to do something about the argument they had the night before. The term 'Christmas spirit' just didn’t apply to the blonde vampire-viking. Especially not while I was staring at a fake (well, I hope) skeleton dressed up in a bright red santa suit.

"It... it’s nice." I thought for a second. "You could call it Christween. The fangbangers will be impressed."

Eric's throaty chuckle graced his lips, but soon they were on my neck. His fangs scraped my skin softly, sending a tremor all the way down my body. "The only person I want to impress is you."

The nervous smile on my face melted into something else entirely as he turned me and his lips slipped closer to mine.
