WIBU-KEY Setup

WIBU-KEY Setup by WIBU-SYSTEMS AG is the official installer for the WibuKey runtime environment, required by applications that use WibuKey hardware dongles for licensing and copy protection. It installs the necessary device drivers, background services, and configuration tools so Windows can reliably detect, communicate with, and authorize WibuKey-protected software.

Key capabilities:

• Installs drivers and the runtime needed for USB (and compatible legacy) WibuKey dongles
• Provides a control panel utility to view attached keys, check license status, and adjust settings
• Offers optional network license support so multiple clients can access licenses from a central host
• Includes diagnostic tools to verify proper installation and troubleshoot connectivity
• Supports interactive and unattended (silent) deployment for IT administrators

WIBU-KEY Setup does not include licenses; you need a valid WibuKey dongle or a license provided by your software vendor. It is intended for end users running protected applications as well as organizations standardizing license management across workstations and servers.

Note: This package targets the classic WibuKey technology. If your software specifies a different WIBU-SYSTEMS licensing solution, such as CodeMeter, use the corresponding installer.

WIBU-KEY Setup is developed by WIBU-SYSTEMS AG and is used by 85 users of Software Informer. The names of program executable files are WkSvMon.exe, WkSvMgr.exe and WkSvW32.exe. This particular product is not fit to be reviewed by our informers.
