Legio Crucius - Direwolf conversion kit - DONE!

Hello one and all,

Happy New Year! My first offering of 2026, is a completed Direwolf Heavy Scout Titan conversion kit. This is designed to swap between the official Forge World Warhound Titan carapace to allow for a Direwolf to be fielded in battle.
This is armed with a Neutron lance, and the bolter weapons. The shock laser is crazy, and was able to shutdown a Reaver and a Warbringer at the ToC walk, which left them unshielded, and ready for the killing shot.
The arms are bolted, so can swap between arm weapons, which also allows for the conversion to work so well.
I've printed a few of these kits for people at cost, please reach out if you'd like an upgrade kit for your Warhound titans! :)

Cheers! LH (10pts)

Primaris Deathwatch Desolators - Done!

 Hello one and all!

This weeks offering to the Hive is 10 Deathwatch Primaris Space Marine Desolators. These guys have been altered, from the Nerf gun welding marines, to something more stylish in my eyes.

I had thought of moving the main missile weapons to the backpack, however the rules impled that the smaller rockets could fired at any target - even unseen, so for me these had to be moved from the gun, as it made no sense to have a marine pointing a gun at a target it can't see.

Thus, the conversion happened. I used the HH Heavy bolter as a base, chopped it up to be the rear section, then added the cut back missile pods. The smaller rocket pod was then attached to the target sensor on the backpack.

The marines were painted as per the normal Deathwatch style, and on resin bases. These guys look the part for me! LH (10pts)

Deathwatch Primaris Captains - Done!

Hello one and all.. I'm still here!

This weeks offering is 2 Primaris Captains for my Deathwatch force.

First Captain, this captain - from the Brotherhood of a Thousand chapter is the standard Gravis captain, with a space wolves head swap. The armour has been painted as per other Deathwatch forces, with the addition of a purple power sword.
Up next, is Captain 2.. Similar to some of my Deathwatch force, the Captain has had the Power Sword swapped with one of the Necron power weapons, I like the idea of the Deathwatch accessing enemies weapons to fight them.. This model also has had the addition of a 3D printed 'Skywalker' head.

Overall, happy with the look of these two.

Thanks for stopping by. LH (20pts)

Legio Crucius - WIP Warhound #3 - including 3D printed weapons

Hello one and all,

This week I've started working on my 3rd (of 4) Warhounds, potentially with the long term plan to run 2 squadrons of 3 Warhounds at Titan Owner Club Walks.
The main part of the build is complete, with the skeleton of the titan done, pinned and secured together. I've opted for a static pose. The pelvis/torso has had magnets added. I've added pins to all the leg joins to support the Titan, as well as the head - as I've had one or two issues with the first two resulting in the head falling off due to transit.
The weapons for the Hound is exciting! I've printed options for the Titan, with the Volkite Eradicator and Ursus Claw for some serious close firepower. I will have the same load out for Warhound 4. These have been printed using my Anycubic Phantom, the Claw as several parts with the additions of supports for the print. I am really happy with how these look, hopefully more progress soon!

I've also worked on options for a Conversion Beamer and Warhound Melta Cannon, below is the Conversion Beamer. I've used 2 different files, and then spliced them up to allow the construction of it. Pretty happy with it!

Could this be Vulkan?? Deathwatch Captain / Inquisitor Lord Conversion

 Hello One and All,

I shared a WIP pic of this model a while ago, now complete and ready to share.

The fluff behind 'Vulkan'

The Deathwatch Captain walked across the battlefield, seeing that the Deathwatch had elimatated the threat. He spotted movement by the river of lava. He walked over, bolter ready, to his surprise he found a small infant, inside the skull of a beast. The Watch Captain felt an aura around the Child, skin coal black, eyes a burning red - he wanted to kneel before this child, but had no idea why. He picked the child up and took him to the waiting Thunderhawk, looking at the child again, he spotted a huge scar across his skull, which looked both old, but also unhealed... 'Who are you...?' he thought...

The moment I saw the AoS Lord Commander Bastian Caththalos, I knew I wanted to use it for my Deathwatch force (as well as another project..) Looking at the face I thought he looked similar to an older Vulkan of the Salamanders. I really liked the idea that Vulkan had been rebourne - with him being a perpetual, after the battle with the Beast, however during the battle Vulkan had been injured in such a way that prevented his memories returning, and him growing into his full potential until all the Salamander relics are located by Vulkan He'stan. Thus, Vulkan became part of the  Deathwatch with no knowledege of who he really is.

The model has had a number of additons and alterations.

The left arm has had the addition of an  underslung Inferno Pistol to it. I used a melta spare from the centurions kit. I also added some pipes and cables made from Green Stuff.

I've weapon swaped the previous 'warhammer' with a Heavy Deathwatch one, firstly Vulkan needs a larger Hammer, but also that the hammer size does not look overly big for the model.
The rear of the model has had a firstborne marine backpack added, whcih has been converted to sit nicely to the back of the model. The model has also had the 'halo' of the Bastian model added.

The front of the model has had a new of marine detals added to make him more 'Marine' and less 'AoS'

Game terms, I would look to use the Guilliman rules for him, or potential look to house rules him. The other option could be to call him an Inquisitor Lord working with the Deathwatch.

Warbringer Nemesis Titan - Sunfury Plasma Annihilator Carapace Weapon - Done

Hello one and all!

This weeks sees my offering to the collective of a Sunfury Plasma Annihilator weapon for my Warbringer Nemesis Titan from Forge World.
First question - WHY!, well one of the issues with the Warbringer Nemesis Titan (in AT) is the single fire blast weapon either the Mori-Quake Cannon or Belicosa Volcano Cannon, so, with the Sunfury Plasma Annihilator I would have 4 shots - with the option for maximal fire, which could be focused at a point of damage on the enemy titan, very deadly especially with a high starting strength! But sacrificing the longer range of the other two (official) options.

I've utilised a 'spare' Sunfury Plasma Annihilator to chop up to utilise on the Warbringer Nemesis. I was keen to have another option for the Titan, but also I always felt the Sunfury would look better on my Warbringer with the converted Plasma generators on the back of the Titan.
I've painted the Sunfury in the same style as my other Sunfury Plasma Annihilator weapons for my Warlord Titan so that it links.
The conversion saw major work on the rear, the weapon is flipped, and then had the rear modified to sit closer to the main body by removing some of the length from the generator based at the back which housed the plasma coils, these were added to the side of the generator. The connecting cables were chopped and added to add detail to the unit.
I am not sure how this would fare in battle, I'll see if the team at the Titan Owners Club will let me test it out!

Legio Astorum Forge World Reaver Titan - Carapace Vulcan MegaBolter

Hello all and thanks for dropping by. If you are as old as me, and own Titans, you will also be disappointed that a kit from 2006 still only has one carapace weapon option, and the AT versions have plenty... come on Forge World, where are my Titan Weapon options?
This was made using an old Lucius Pattern Warhound Titan Vulcan MegaBolter, I liked the simplicity as the armour shielding is symmetrical whereas the Mars version is asymmetric and would need the modelling skills of my Titan buddy Rob Wolters to look decent.
I added various gubbins on the rear and a set of inner Land Raider doors to hide the shaved off arm socket.
Dakka Dakka
What I found the most useful is a stack of 5mm magnets in the centreline strut was strong enough to affix to my magnetised Apocalypse Missile Launcher mount (the reason I chose to magnetise that bit).
Here it is on Reaver Aquila Occulus, ready to strip the voids on the Traitor Titans
I quite love the low profile and stubby barrels, looks brutal.
Here was the converted stage, I used a landing gear strut and cog mechanicum piece from the StormTalon Gunship, a sponson side from the same, a couple of doors from the internal Landraider doors and the landing struts made the hingles, gap filled and finished off with a couple of eyebolts from a Leman Russ (I think).
Hope this inspires some of you Titanseers to re-arm your Engines!

Cheers. Princeps Siph (5pts)

Deathwatch Space Marines - Bladeguard - Done!

Another week gone, not sure where! Up next, 3 Bladeguard Deathwatch Marines,

They have been converted to have Necron power weapons rather than swords - as they look cool! and have had the addition of 3D printed shoulder pads and helmets. I've added shoulder pauldrons from the Emperors Spears, Dark Kraken and Wolfspears chapters.

I really love how the weapon colour contrasts with the metallic black armour- I've tried to make the blades as 'Necron-like' as possible, whilst retaining the similar highlighted appearance of all the other power weapons.
The helms are 'Sparta' based, I wanted them to stand out more, as really the Bladeguard marines are the veterans of the Primaris breed.
Overall happy with the way these guys finished, and 3 more to the sizable Deathwatch force! Next up are more marines, and a very interesting character.

Cheers, Lord TITANium Halfpenny (6pts)
