This ring was made to honor the culture of shipping yourself with your beloved fictional other & showing the world just how much you love your partner. All yumeshippers, soulbonders, riakos are absolutely welcome in this circle, we won't judge ♥.

Heavily inspired by the original Self-Insert Webring that has sadly closed in early 2024, I wanted to make my own webring dedicated to my own yumeships as well as met other like-minded people who also selfship like I do. The old one (which you can view here in Neocities ) was... outdated to say the least with its janky codes and what not.
So, with a bit of inspiration from other rings around Nekoweb and how they coded their sites & widgets, this ring is now ready to be open and strewn about.

For those curious as to what exactly a web ring is, a web ring is a cyclical collection of sites gathered around one common interest or theme that allows for other websites to find each other easily. In this case, it's for those who are in relationships with fictional characters.

The code has been fixed! Updates ahead...
Hello all! Long time, no see ~
As you may have noticed from the date, things are picking up in my personal life that makes it so updates are a little on the slower side than I'd like for them to be.
Regardless, I am very thankful for Aid and her expertise coding that we now have a proper code for our webring. Please give her a shout-out if you can.
On top of that, I also would like to announce that in order to gain access to the code and join the ring, I will have it so you will have to e-mail me with your application so I can give you the code itself in case there is anything that needs to be tweaked.
With that aside, I want to welcome all of the newer members who joined in the webring and a big thank you to those who have joined when it first began running. I cannot thank you all enough ♥

Problems surrounding the ring code and how to fix it...
I have become aware of a problem surrounding the webring's widget code that prevents the variables from registering within the script itself. I suspect that this is due to a formatting error regarding either the javascript itself or the code entirely.
Either way, I will figure out a solution for this as soon as I can. For now, when you are applying to join the webring itself, please e-mail me at [email protected] with your application so I can hand you a copy of the widget code itself.

Applications are now open and available to the public!
We are still currently in the process of accepting those who were in the webring in the past but rest assured, we are more than happy to allow newer members into the ring itself.

rules and regulations

you must have a fictional partner of some kind, whether you be a yumejoshi/danshi/jin, a soulbond, a riako, etc.
please have a personal, handcoded site to join the webring. no strawpage, carrd, or any site hosted on a social media platform. ai-generated websites or sites that otherwise have ai content in them are not allowed to join either. (make sure your site is also not empty and barren!)
no websites that host harmful/hateful content.
what you do on your website/outside the web is your own doing but i do not feel uncomfortable with websites that host content involving bigotry, hate speech/harassment, etc.
as admin, i reserve the right to decline an application and/or remove anyone from the ring if they are harmful towards others and my personal safety.
nsfw/mature content is 100% allowed but please make sure it is labled as such on your website.

how do i apply?

in order to apply to the ring, you can e-mail me at email me at [email protected] with the following form below.

after filling out the form and sending in the e-mail, please put the widget anywhere on your website that is easily visible at first glance (namely on a landing page or a homepage) and wait to be accepted in!
after you get the OK, you should be able to customize the widget within the code itself depending on the theme of your website.
