Office of Information Technology is committed to providing University employees with a broad range of training opportunities. We recognize that training programs and professional development can help an employee increase their effectiveness and refine their job skills. Listed below are the classes we offer to the University community.
Description:
This hands-on session will guide you through the basics of accessibility for document creation. The session will begin with an overview that covers content like:
- Document structure and formatting
- Color contrast
- Alt text
- Accessibility checkers
Participants will have time during this session to work on their own content and get assistance from trainers.
Please bring your UTA-issued device for live activities.

Staff and Faculty
All in-person sessions will be held on campus. Please bring your UTA-issued computer. If you need a loaner laptop, email [email protected] at least 1 hour before your session.
The process improvement Escape Room is a physical adventure game where beginners can work to solve a series of puzzles using clues and hints. The goal is to develop strategies to “escape” the room by applying process improvement tools.
This hands-on experience is designed to support your practice and understanding of process improvement basics, while enhancing problem-solving skills in a fun and interactive environment.
