The Range XP 2.0 is built on Weatherby’s newest bolt action rifle platform, the Model 307. Meant to complement the historic Mark V® and Vanguard® lineups, the Model 307 action is a 2-Lug, fully cylindrical action compatible with many aftermarket accessories. Model 307 is designed to accommodate the vast offerings of stocks, triggers, rails, mounts, and magazines that exist in today’s marketplace. The Range XP 2.0 is a shooter-friendly platform that can dominate the shooting range or the mountain range. The upgraded hand-painted stock is sure to make this rifle stand out.

A custom rifle feel, without the custom price

Through years of innovation and testing, the Model 307 action features a bolt that was designed to have a tool-less disassembly which allows hunters and shooters to easily field strip their bolt if needed. The bolt is equipped with an M16-style extractor for positive extraction and reliable ejection. The Range XP 2.0 comes standard with an externally adjustable TriggerTech Field trigger. The Range XP 2.0 comes with a Magpul removable magazine and is compatible with AICS magazines.

Featuring a lightweight vertical grip stock that includes an adjustable cheekpiece and adjustable length of pull providing a custom fit for the shooter. Touch points are textured for a nonslip grip and dual front swivel studs allow for multiple accessories. The custom finish is hand-painted by our expert craftsman.

Available in short and long actions, the Range XP not only offers some of Weatherby’s historic magnum cartridges but is available in a wide range of the most popular cartridges on the market today.

Range XP 2.0 is compatible with many after-market 700® platform parts, making it the most open platform in the Weatherby line-up. With an upgraded adjustable stock, trigger, bolt, fluted barrel, and Accubrake, the Range XP brings a custom rifle feel, without the custom price. The Range XP 2.0 is proudly built at our headquarters in Sheridan, WY.

TriggerTech Trigger

TriggerTech’s trigger provides true zero-creep break, extremely short over-travel, and is externally adjustable (down to 2.5 lbs). Precision cut stainless steel components ensure consistent trigger pulls from shot to shot in a safe, reliable, and corrosion resistant package. Features a 2 position safety.

Tool-less Bolt Takedown

The Model 307 showcases an all-new 3 piece bolt design, featuring a completely tool-less takedown.

Accubrake

A universal Accubrake with suppressor ready threads. Efficient radial design helps to evenly disperse gas and reduce felt recoil by up to 53%.

Adjustable Stock

Featuring a lightweight vertical grip stock that includes an adjustable cheekpiece and adjustable length of pull to guarantee a custom fit for the shooter. Textured vertical grip and forend paneling ensure a comfortable fit and the dual front swivel studs allows for multiple accessories.

    I recently bought the model 307 in 308 Winchester and love it! The bolt is as smooth as can be , the trigger is great, but the best thing is the accuracy. This rifle will routinely shoot 1/2 inch groups with Hornady interlocks and also a 3/8 inch group with Federal Fusions.

    Shoots great!
    .75 moa!
    Just a warning 700 scope mounts do not fit this rifle.
    110 with 8-40 2 piece will fit. You can get the Talley rings that will fit or the Peak 44 pic base.

    Great gun! I have a 6.5 Creedmoor. The scope mounts are specific this rifle. I had a little frustration getting those. Called Weatherby and they were great. The rep. I spoke with knew the model I was talking about immediately and educated me on my options. I had a range trip coming up that week and was able to find the peak 44 mount on amazon and received it in time to make the range day. Gun shot flawlessly. Key than a 1inch group at 100 yds with WWB.
