Paperback “Reducing the Contract Amount” by Polina Shinkina [Oct. 17th, 2017|05:45 pm]
Washington State University

Nicolay Shinkin
“Reducing the Contract Amount” is a one-topic textbook from the series of the textbooks related to discussion of different aspects of business contract terms in the Chinese language. The textbook contains a number of useful phrases and words which might be used in the process of business negotiations.

The main purpose of this textbook is developing speaking and writing skills by means of studying general questions. The skill of asking questions is very important in business talks with the Chinese trading partners as well as in business correspondence.

The grammar of this textbook presents different types of general questions, such as general questions with modal verbs and alternative questions. Each exercise includes one type of question and it makes the study process comfortable and easy to memorize.

For those of you who are under the federal poverty line, there is a program called Take Charge that provides a year of free birth control to eligible individuals. Due to the budget crisis, this program will end in February 2011. People who enroll before February 28th, 2011 will still be able to receive the year of free birth control. This also includes birth control that lasts longer than a year, such as IUDs.

My boyfriend is looking at applying for grad school at WSU. Can anyone here give me some idea on how the job market is in Pullman & Moscow, ID? If he gets accepted, I'll need to find a job that can support us both. Also, housing seems pretty inexpensive (compared to what I am used to), this makes me think that wages must be pretty low. Is this true? What off campus areas for housing should we steer clear of? What nuggets of advice can you give a Pullman noob?

I am hoping we can make a visit to the area next summer.

Amazon is offering a free 1 year subscription to Amazon Prime (Which usually costs $79 a year. Perks include free 2 day shipping, and $3.99 overnight shipping): http://amzn.to/bSH8jP (url shortened with bit.ly)

This is being marketed towards college students but all you need is a valid .edu email address, so teachers and alumni might be able to benefit from this too (though the Terms of Service does say they have the right to ask for proof that you are a current student).

I apologize if you have already heard about this amazing deal. I just want to help spread the word on this before they stop offering it. I am not an employee of Amazon, nor do I gain anything from people signing up for this service.

Does anyone on here have access to WSU library in particular WSU proquest privileges? I need access to a unpublished dissertation, but am hoping not to pay the $50 as I am a broke grad student at another Washington university. I wouldn't ask if I didn't have to, its just one of the only other studies on what I am writing my thesis on.

Thanks!

What happened to Kristen Grindley, who is responsible, and why? [Dec. 6th, 2009|05:07 am]

It is beginning to look as though we're starting to have yet another Fred Russell situation on our hands. Once again a Cougar has been injured, and the responsible or involved party/ies are not coming forward.

"Kristen Grindley was found in a pool of blood on a rural road near Pullman, Washington on 11/11/09 in the early hours of the morning.
She was very badly injured. A person of interest has been declared by the police who are investigating the incident."

The Justice for Kristen Grindley FaceBook page.
The Rally for Kristen Grindley FaceBook page.

If anyone knows anything, PLEASE go to the police and help. I still like to believe that Cougars live up to their responsibilities.
