With a rather sparkly magical paper, you look over the job listing for a local witch needing an assistant with making potions before the town festival that weekend. Something so short notice would surely be hard for her to find workers, and you just happen to be inbetween jobs—so you sign up, unsure exactly what to expect......
A pompous and questionably excellent witch runs a local apothecary in town but finds that if she wants to make enough potions before the festival that weekend to sell (and keep her ongoing potion shop afloat) she'll need some assistance. After a dubious help wanted ad, she gains you as an assistant. Will the two of you see through to the festival? Will you be able to make a single potion? Will this girlfailure capture your heart?!
This game was made in a few weeks for Studio Élan's Garden Variety: Dandelion Set game jam, an internal game jam for making new yuri games!

I chose the same name that I chose in Potion Panik, Opia, so I guess these two games will forever be connected for me.
But my character in Potion Panik was a guy, so now my headcanon is that he was going steady with Mirabelle before he did some self discovery, came out as trans, and Mirabelle was supportive at first but as Opia continued his transition, Mirabelle just wasn't attracted to him anymore and they ended on good terms. He moved away and started his own potion shop in another town because working there was just too akward.

this game is sooooo cute!! i had to make an account just to comment how much i loved it. the art was so amazing, i almost couldn't focus on the story which was the definition of short and sweet. the mini puzzles were challenging without being super difficult, the character creator was simple but soo fun, and the music was so charming. loveddd mirabelle's character and im def checking out some of your other games. thank you for the yuri!!! ^_^

After trying to make the love potion for the couple multiple times and failing, i was actually wondering..is there a actual recipe for the hate potion in this game?
Such a cute witch, i like the character design. By the way, what was the last proper ingredient for the couple? I tried different combo & so far i didn't get it right. I'm not sure what ingredients match on the list except for rose petal.

This game is super cute & Mirablle is such a fun character to work for. I'd love to see this expanded on more but if not, it's still an adorable little 20 or so-minute experience.

the first and last potions were... vauge to say the least lols, i was so scared of messing up the potions so i prepared to savescum my way thru {but didnt need to :3}

This was so cute! There was really only one potion that gave me trouble (because I was being silly), but it was pretty easy to deduce the ingredients! The good ending had me practically kicking my feet. I'm so happy for Sara and Lilian and Mirabelle and the player character. Thanks for making this!

Mirabelle is really cute! I gave my best efforts to brew the right potions and get the good ending, and then when I did another play through and intentionally ruined all of them I felt awful for letting her (and Sara and Lilian) down. Serves me right, I guess.
Also, I was surprised that there was character creation! That's a non-trivial bit of extra effort the devs didn't need to do to for this story to work, so good on them for going the extra mile! It would be nice to see this game fleshed out into a full length experience some day!
