I love the feel of a book in my hand. The smell of it. Mmm….there’s nothing better!
A new book brings a sense of mystery. What is going to happen? Who will I meet? I love it! Join me on this adventure. Read my reviews, choose a new read, curl up in your favorite chair with a cup of tea. Let the story play out in your head and enjoy!

If you could travel anywhere for winter, where would you go?

Great question! Honestly, I would stay right in Michigan. I enjoy (most) of the winter season. For me the hardest part is the lack of sunshine. Our weather is affected by Lake Michigan and it causes us to have gray skies for days on end.

Turks and Caicos! I love the warm weather. Would rather be far away from the cold weather, snow, & ice.

Norway! Ever since reading Night Riders by Karin Anckarsvaard, I’ve longed to see it covered in snow and ride a horse on a frozen fjord.

since retiring, we’ve traveled all over the US, except for the northeastern areas. So, I’d love to go to Michigan, and I read about a place called Frankenmuth I’d love to visit and just lue on the beach!

Oh do come to Michigan! If you want to lie on the beach think about Holland or Grand Haven MI. For Frankenmuth you must go to Bronner’s Christmas Store. I love it!!! Hope you make it some day!

I grew up in Minnesota, and it is fairly telling to learn that I now live in Oklahoma–still have some winter, but what they call a snowstorm usually makes me laugh!
