The Veteran Sergeant spent a decade in the military and government, and stays active in the military community, working with charities for the families of fallen aviators and special operators. He lives by the beach with his wife and two cats and when not writing or GMing, converts custom wargames miniatures, hence this blog. 

His first game of 40K was played as Squats. When Squats still had rules in early 2nd Edition. He still has a soft spot for those little buggers.
