I've gone down a huge number of rabbit holes in my quest for cool shit to put on my site, so I figured I'd gather a chunk of where I source things from so that others can find cool shit, too. Many of the images in my collection have hyperlinks back to their source if I can find it, so if it's not here, it might be there, or able to be found through the blinkie wiki (#ad 🤪). Anyway, enjoy this list of visual web knick-knacks.

Well-known website where you can customize your own 150x20 blinkie from a huge selection of templates.

Probably the second most popular blinkie generator. Old school templates.

piixelite's blinkie maker
Most customizable blinkie maker out of the bunch. Moving text, individual part colors, etc! Also check out their stamp maker, which has similar capabilites.

blinkees' blinkie maker
The only blinkie maker out there (that I know of) with text scaling! Pretty cool!

Picasion Glitter Text
Make classic, crusty glitter text with a variety of different fonts and textures.

DaGrand39's Sparkle Text Maker!
Like Picasion, but more modern and with more options if you're not as into the crust (though that can still be achieved!). UI is kind of intimidating at first. Page comes in English and Japanese!

3dgifmaker
Pretty well-known editor. Upload images and turn them into crunchy gifs with various effects, expectedly mostly 3D-related.

Photomosh
Upload images and apply various effects to them, both for gifs and still images.

thisdastampdoesnotexist
Tumblr blog that posts handmade nonsensical, memey, and hyper-specific Deviantart stamps. Has a bias towards the blogrunner's personal media interests, but anything goes.

Stamps-Are-Us
A Deviantart group that isn't very active nowadays, but it contains a ton of sub-galleries of classic Deviantart-style stamps and stamp templates.

GifCities
Website powered by archive.org that pulls gifs from all over old archived geocities websites. Can take a while to load and WILL slow down less powerful computers if you load too much at once, but it's an extremely useful resource. Recently got an update that lets you search by appearance and/or image size!

Shishka
Shishka's collection of graphics, which includes those made by them. Has the usual roster of web decor types and a bunch of various pixels.

Spiritcellar's Graphic Collection
SpiritCellar's absolutely massive collection of graphics. Buttons, blinkies, stamps, etc.

This site has dividers, favicons, stamps, blinkies, buttons, text, and more. Also check out the Re:source Webring, which the safari is a part of.

Archived geocities page of a chinese user's web graphic collection, all meticulously organized, and with most if not all images intact! The site isn't in english, duh, but it's not hard to navigate and figure out what's what. Kao, backgrounds, dividers, section buttons, and a whole collection of Hello Kitty graphics on the side!

Bunch of old internet gifs! Huge variety. Presented as if it's a shop and you're "buying" the graphics you save (doesn't actually cost money though).

radiotrophic / hyprmobile
Deviantartist who makes really nice blinkies on a variety of subject matters, especially LGBT+ and disabilities. First link is its old deviantart with the largest archive, second is its new recent one after it lost access to the first.

Old, Web 1.0 site with probably over 1000 original, hand-made blinkies. Despite not being updated since 2007, the original site is still active. Lots of pretty iconic blinkies here you've probably seen before. Note that many contain dated humor and references, both neutral and ones that have aged badly. Also, the website host is held up by like three toothpicks so no more than one or two people at a time can view this place.

Prolific blinkie creator that takes requests, so theres a wide range of subject matter. One of my personal favorites.

Massive and growing hyper-organized collection of blinkies from around the web. All credited, alt text'd, etc. Like a sister project to blinkie.wiki; my partner and the .world creator just had the same idea at the same time!

Cyber's 88x31 Collection
Over 4,000 88x31 buttons, both old and new. Probably the largest out there as of writing. Sadly does not link sources.

Archive of crazyzone04's cute button templates. Terms of use require a link back with the button above, and to save the images to your own hosting.

HUUUUGE badge collection! Will probably take a minute to load.

Thousands of modern custom web badges/id buttons. Primarily LGBT, but has other subjects as well, like hobbies and Flight Rising specifically.

sadgrl's tiled backgrounds
Buncha nice tiled backgrounds! Most of the ones on my site here are from this page. sadgrl also has a lot of other resources!

Favicon central! Thousands of them! Will probably take a while to load.

The Iconolog
Collection of tons of old internet and software icons. Beware of broken links and images. Hasn't been updated since 2003, which is why sometimes you click something, and suddenly, .zip downloading jumpscare. Nothing malicious, it's just the icons. It's a little hard to navigate at times but the icons are awesome.

Site with a huge collection of kaoani, aka puffs, those little mochi-shaped pixel guys that often have wings.
