In the article an interactive text-reading platform based on the Text 2.0 framework is presented.... more In the article an interactive text-reading platform based on the Text 2.0 framework is presented. An experiment was carried out to investigate the reading behaviour of Italian language learners using this platform. Average reading time and comprehension scores did not differ across the conditions (a dedicated eye tracker PCeye Go, webcam-based eye tracking and mouse-only interaction). Additionally, participants in all the groups rated high on the perceived usefulness of the developed platform and overall reading experience. The implications of using such a tool for interactive reading are presented in this paper.

Korzyści płynące z ich stosowania dostrzegane są także w środowisku akademickim. Nauczyciele akademiccy chętnie sięgają po infografiki na platformie społecznościowej, jaką jest Facebook, przede wszystkim po to, aby komunikować się ze swoimi studentami w sprawach bieżących, ale także aby zachęcić do studiowania potencjalnych kandydatów. Takie wyjście naprzeciw panującym trendom wydaje się uzasadnione, ponieważ młodzież obecnie studiująca, wychowana w czasach cyfryzacji i przełomu technologicznego, poszukuje i oczekuje informacji przekazywanej w znany sobie sposób, tj. przede wszystkim za pośrednictwem sieci Internet. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest ukazanie, w jaki sposób kadra akademicka Wydziału Humanistycznego Uniwersytetu Warmińsko-Mazurskiego w Olsztynie komunikuje się ze swoimi studentami lub/i potencjalnymi kandydatami za pomocą infografik oraz jakie cele im w tym przyświecają.

Sie treten uns überall entgegen und die Zeitschriften, Plakate oder Internet-Einträge können als die besten Beispiele dafür dienen. Ihre Allgegenwärtigkeit, die allen voran aus der rasanten Entwicklung sowie Verbreitung der Neuen Medien resultiert, trägt dazu bei, dass man sie ebenfalls im Falle des Fremdsprachenunterrichts nicht mehr übersehen kann. Ihr riesiges didaktisches Potenzial, das aus der semiotischen Arbeitsteilung von Sprache-Bild-Verknüpfungen folgt, kann nicht nur neue Möglichkeiten zur Förderung unterschiedlicher sprach- und nicht-sprachbezogener Kompetenzen von Fremdsprachenlernenden schaffen, sondern auch die Effektivität des Fremdsprachenlehr- und Lernprozesses erhöhen.
