Katarzyna Kopczewska
As a quantitative economist, I deal with spatial modeling of geo-localized economic processes - location and co-location, agglomeration, concentration, diffusion, spatial interactions in relation to economic phenomena, companies, real estate, but also regional policy or public sector activities. I conduct methodological research on the implementation of data science methods for spatial analysis and combining them with classical spatial statistics and econometrics. I run models in R. I combine quantitative solutions with theory and problems of regional science and economic geography. I am interested in geo-marketing issues, quantitative research on the effects of regional policy, location and co-location of companies, real estate valuation, and in the quantitative method in bootstrap and Monte Carlo as a big data solution and statistics for spatial distributions. I am member of European board (EOC) of the European Regional Science Association (ERSA).
