Abstract : some injectable products, drugs or vaccines are temperature sensitive; if the cold chain is respected by professionals who are legally responsible : laboratory, storage, transport and pharmacy, patients are generally not aware of protocols for keeping this cold chain up to injection and have dangerous transport and conservation practices. Generally neither doctors, pharmacists nor nurses are aware of this problem which can have serious consequences. This study lists good practices that patients can implement easily, with common commercial materials. 1-LA CHAINE DU FROID TELLE QUE PROPOSÉE AU PATIENT.

Unfortunately many groups in very poor areas do not have the resources, the skill, the electric power to install and maintain a sophisticated system like that, when their wells are more and more salted due to the overexploitation of their resources, the lack of rain, the raise of sea level. So there is probably a large need for systems which could be easily built in towns close to those areas, using local materials, and local know how.
So the target is to get a more simple system than what exists now, with a high efficiency.
Currently the most sophisticated systems reach an efficiency of 2 times the one of Charles Wilson (average production of 3 litres per square meters of glass and per day). Our models and prototype reach 3 times that level.
We got that by creating a laboratory to test and optimize during 18 months all the components of a flat solar still like the one of Maria Telkes (“solar still construction” 1959 Univ. of Tulsa Oklahoma) and what have been done since then. The weakest point of those systems is the wick or carpet, which do not allow enough evaporation. So we invented and patented a multilayer carpet made of different fabrics assembled together. This single point made 35% out of the 50% of efficiency increase we got.

UN ECHAFAUDAGE SELON L'INVENTION COMPORTE DES ELEMENTS VERTICAUX 1 PORTANT DES DOUILLES 3 SUR CHACUNE DESQUELLES PEUT ETRE FIXEE UNE EXTREMITE D'UNE TRAVERSE HORIZONTALE 2 PORTANT UNE FOURCHE 4 ET UNE CLAVETTE CONIQUE 5 PRISONNIERE. LA CLAVETTE 5 COMPORTE, AU VOISINAGE DE SON EXTREMITE, UN PIVOT EN RELIEF 8. AU REPOS, LA CLAVETTE OCCUPE UNE POSITION SENSIBLEMENT HORIZONTALE 5 ET LE BORD SUPERIEUR DE LA DOUILLE 3 VIENT S'APPUYER LEGEREMENT EN ARRIERE DU PIVOT EN POSITION 8 ET FAIT BASCULER LA CLAVETTE A LA VERTICALE. UNE APPLICATION EST LE MONTAGE D'ECHAFAUDAGES DE TRAVAIL POUR LA CONSTRUCTION DE BATIMENTS, DE NAVIRES OU DE RESERVOIRS.
