[ Good afternoon, Johto! How is that Christmas spirit going on? Going shopping for the perfect gifts, caroling, setting up a tree, these are staples of a Western Christmas. Well, Souji has been here for over a year and he has noticed that most people celebrate the holiday that way, so heck, he might as well try spending it like that too. He has tried it last year in Johto and it has been quite fun. Besides, a certain somebody has been trying to make him put more spirit into it and "fully celebrate" it. So, guess who is putting up Christmas lights on the Breeding Centre and has dragged his partner with it? ]

[ The camera spins from the dirt road to a familiar face, dressed all warmly and holding a line of lights out towards Souji all the way up on a ladder. The Riolu points it up to Souji who takes notice of it. ]

Yosuke, the camera. [ He points down at the gear which then swings down to Yosuke. ]

O-oh, it's on? [ He looks at the Riolu, who shakes the camera as he nods. ] Alright, well-- A little more warning would have been nice, but...

[ Yosuke grins, putting on his best salesman act. Don't worry, he's totally a pro at this. ] Come one, come all to the Breeding Centre's Merry Holiday Christmas Sale! All eggs will be buy one, get one free until Christmas. We'll also do gift wrapping, and same day delivery, just like always!

This special is a limited-time offer, so make sure you get the deal while it's hot! [ He winks at the camera. What a ham. He definitely sounds like Crazy Eddie. Please roll your eyes at him any time now. Once he finishes his spiel, the Riolu makes an affirmative sound, implying that he's done with the video. Spoiler: It's still on. ]

Well, that worked well enough, I guess. Maybe a little over the top, but we did kind of wait a while to actually do somethin-- Hey, are you ready for the next string of lights yet? [ Yosuke's brain-to-mouth filter is currently set to off, just happily blabbering his stream of consciousness. ]

[ Souji gives a small nod and outstretches a single hand, the other gripping the ladder. ] Yeah, pass them up. I should be able to cover this side of the centre with one more line.

[ Yosuke bends down to pick up a new line from the box, putting the whole thing in his arms. However, the problem with having an armful of things and having elbows stick out around a ladder is just asking for disaster, and as expected, there's one as he stands back up, he accidentally bumps the ladder just hard enough to give it a shake. ]

Hey-- whoa, whoa, ack!!

[ And without any surprise, Souji falls right off that ladder. Yosuke, being right in the path of damage lets out a pretty loud: ]

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!

[ He drops the lights, making an attempt to either catch Souji or get the hell out of the way... which one it is, Yosuke doesn't know, because there's not exactly much time for him to think. As this happens, the Riolu tries to catch its trainer by dropping the gear, shutting it off. ]

[ Oh sup, network? How you doin'? Hopefully good and got a barf bag around because hey look, Souji's video is SPINNING ALL OVER THE PLACE AND SLIDING AND OH MY FUCK, WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS FEED ]

[ Doesn't this kind of video post seem very familiar to two other videos from the past year? It sure does seem to start the same way: camera swinging everywhere, Souji doing some verbal keysmashing, flailing for a minute, then finally crashing into a wall where the gear drops down to show a very familiar ice cave. That's right, folks. It's that itme of the year where this protag is thrown into the Ice Path of misfortune! Oh goodie! ]

[ After making sure he hasn't broken his nose from slipping and sliding everywhere on the ice then crashing into a wall, Souji stands up, keeping himself steady by holding onto the wall. Good thing he's wearing his winter jacket. Might be the only good thing around here. Oh wait, let's check what kind of Pokemon he has on him. He doubts that he has his actual team here since the last previous visits, he got a completely different party but maybe it's something nice. The first time, he got a team full of Magikarps. The second time, he got Bidoofs. Third time's the charm so let's see this awesome team of his!! ]


[ ...the fuck is this-- ]

[ Why does he even try to believe Johto can do something kind for him just once? It's like winning the lottery for this place to play nice. God, this sucks. He lets out a frustrated sigh, shoving his bare hands into his pockets. ]

I don't think these fish-things can get me out of here, so I should probably get a move on. If anyone can lend a hand and fly me back to Goldenrod's Breeding Centre, I'll greatly appreciate it. It seems like I'm just attracted to this place or something. Three times is ridiculous.

[ Help Souji. He can't get over to that rocky path and off this ice properly without slipping. Stupid Stunfisk, they aren't even helping him!! ]

[ Hey there, Johto! So, it's been a while since anyone have seen a network entry from Souji that isn't goofy like so and so. Therefore, here's an entry in which it's about serious things, but even so, he keeps a smile on. ]

Hey guys, it's Souji here.

It's been a long while, so I'm here to tell you guys that the list of Pokemon eggs over at the Breeding Centre has been updated with a few new Pokemon. Give me a call at the Centre's voicemail if you're interested in an egg. Someone will answer you as soon as possible or you can just ask for an egg right here. For all those who have been in Johto for a month or less, you can get your first three eggs free of charge. We only ask that you spread the word around about the centre.

Also for those who have missed it, we also got a foster home running alongside with the Breeding Centre. It's still somewhat new, but we'll hope to get it running along soon. Ask Merlin over at his gear if you want to drop off a Pokemon, adopt one, or ask for any info, or ask me. Either one of us is good.

[ He takes a pause here though, clearly thinking of something for a few seconds before saying the last bit of this feed; ]

One last thing: I'm heading to Cianwood the first week of November and collecting all the badges of the city I pass to get there. I'm wondering if anyone is interested in tagging along with me since company is always nice. I know it's a short-notice, but if you want to tag along, just give me a heads-up. I'll greatly appreciate it.

[ On this fine entry on this fine day is a fine view from a fine Pokegear that is no longer destroyed! That's right, Souji Seta has gotten himself a new gear since his last one has been nearly broken beyond repair. There's no more cracked screens, no more muffled audio, no more awkward texting, it's all gone! This gear is good as new and its owner looks a lot better than his entry a while back.

There's more colour to his face, he doesn't look like he'll fall over any minute, the bags under his eyes looks lighter, he just looks a lot better overall. He has been getting more rest since he has gotten back in Goldenrod. It's still not enough, but a lot more than he has been getting originally at the breeding centre. However, today, he seems rather... unsure...

He's looking off screen and it seems like he's feeling uncomfortable about something, which is normally not like his usual calm self. He shifts weights onto one foot from the other and finds his hands busy either at the centre's front desk, fingers rubbing against the edge, or playing with the belt loops of his pants.

He takes a deep breath and finally looks at the Pokegear. He clears his throat and begins to speak; ]

Hey... [ He sounds... really unsure.. ] Are...

[ A long pause. Whatever he must be asking must be really important or serious since he's hesitating like this. WHAT COULD IT BE? MAYBE IT'S A TOP SECRET DISCOVERY OF A NEW POKEMON SPECIES OR-- ]

Are...you a Pikachu because you're shockingly beautiful...

[ --or just a Pokemon pick-up line directed to everyone in Johto...

Guess which poor sap lost a bet and is forced to use Pokemon pick-up lines to everyone this whole day, including the people that reply to this entry...? ]

[ The video feed clicks on and the first thing that the camera shows is the dirt ground beyond a ridiculously cracked screen. It stays that way and the audio is muffled, probably because of a hand being placed over the mic by accident (or has it been done on purpose?). It's difficult to tell, but it seems as if this is being recorded in the middle of a battle. What else can all of those shouts, shrieks, sound of attacks be?

It continues on for a few more minutes, just nothing but a view of the floor, occasionally moving about to a different patch and perhaps a gust of dirt flying over. However, the screen finally lifts up towards a small field of grass a few feet away in which a Skarmory is standing in an offensive position. Just not too far from it is what most people might recognize by now: a Shedninja. However, before it can do anything such as stealing souls or be captured inside a specially made Pokeball, it flees and quickly disappears.

The Skarmory loosens up and stares at the holder of the Pokegear, confused. The camera turns once again towards this person and Souji also holds the look of confusion, just showing it less and looking more tired.

He pushes up his glasses- the ones that does nothing at all in this world and situation though always seem to calm him down when placed on -and looks only at the ground or gear. He has been trying his best into not looking around carelessly and possibly into the back of a soul-sucking bug. Throughout that whole battle just now, he has been focusing mostly on the ground to prevent anything while occasionally looking up in which he has noticed something that's... well this: ]

Hey, is it just me or are the Shedinjas not stealing the souls of Pokemon? My Skarmory seems completely fine despite accidentally looking into its back more than once.

[ Which is odd due to the Pokedex saying it'll steal whoever looks into its back or are just Skarmories immune to soul-sucking? Well, his question is asked and he's in a bit of a rush here, so the feed turns off! ]

[ Upon entry from a number that has been missing from the entire network- both in new entries or replying to other entries -there is nothing but darkness. At first, it might seem like it's an audio, but the screen of the gear is completely black instead it clearly says that it's a video feed. So, perhaps the screen is covered or something. At least the audio is still loud and clear. As proven so, there seems to be a strange tapping sound- the sound of something sharp tapping on a window or glass. This sound continues for another few minutes before finally, the video feed kicks in.

Barely any light shines through the gear and the whole image is grainy, almost as watching a television with the worst reception ever-- well, not that bad, but it's still almost painful just looking at this. The cause of this might possibly have to do with the cracks seen on the screen and that the source of the pecking sound earlier is from a large Skarmory looming over it.

It moves off to the side and the camera on the ground captures the image of someone lying on the ground, facing away with their back's turned. Who might it be, on their sides on this frost-covered floor? Place the clues together:

The number registered to this gear, one Skarmory, a familiar mop of grey hair, perhaps even remembering what clothes this person has been wearing on the day he has disappeared?

Well, if still nothing adds up, the Steel-type Pokemon hops over to its trainer (who looks rather quite dead, just lying there, motionless) and nudges him with its beak. Finally, the person moves a bit and mumbles; ]

Izanagi, not right now...

[ How familiar is that voice? Well, it might not be too easy to tell since it sounds pretty groggy and rather terrible. From looking at the settings, as best one can from a broken screen and this terrible angle, frost seems to cover everything from the walls to the floors. Perhaps even an icicle or two can be seen on screen, but even without those, it will be easy to come to the conclusion that this location is somewhere cold; somewhere called the Ice Path.

The Skarmory lets out a small cry and nudges its trainer once again, in which he actually pushes himself upward a bit with a sigh. ]

What is it, Izanag--

[ And then, Souji Seta notices the Pokegear and the little light to indicate recording is turned on. He stares at it for a second before sitting up properly and reaching over to the gear. He holds it in his hands, cradling it a bit. ]

Thought it was completely broken. Guess it's still something.

[ He coughs a few times, not really bothering to cover his mouth with his sleeve. Feeling just a bit too tired to do anything but just lie around; just like he has done for the past few hours, nodding off a bit, but mainly thinking. Thinking about how being trapped here in the Ice Path is exactly the same as that one time so many months ago. Thinking on how he has been having those strange dreams whenever he has fallen asleep for just an hour. Thinking on how everything about his situation has seemed so much the same, except that this time, he doesn't seem as injured as he does seem sick.

Well, probably getting so little sleep then being thrown into an ice cave didn't help. The way he looks and his raspy voice does seem to indicate it. ]

Souji Seta here. Sorry about disappearing for a while... I'm-- [ --having difficulties with my feelings and conflicting thoughts with everything while my self esteem has taken a hit again-- ] --lost in the Ice Path again.

Not too sure how long it'll take me to get out here. [ 'Not even too sure I've in here between just sitting around and having terrible sleeping patterns'. ] I'll find an exit out soon. [ 'Or sooner or later' ]

[ There's a pause, as if Souji isn't too sure what to say now. Maybe he's just deciding on what to say, how to word it, or maybe he's just not feeling well enough to process things as quickly as usual. ] Has... Has anyone who has been having these dreams have... people "revisit" them? [ He isn't too sure how to properly word it right now, not especially in his condition. ]

[ He lowers the gear, placing his hands in his lap. He then gives a small smile as if everything is alright. ]

[ And the feed shuts off! ]

[ Oh hey, it's that Seta kid again and his stupid little video feeds. He's been around a lot over the network with his centre-house catching on fire, the Cleffamigos, and all that. Well, how about this one where the camera is GOING ALL OVER THE FUCKING PLACE OH MY GOD WHERE'S A BARF BAG WHEN YOU NEED IT--

After a minute of this flailing and what sounds like Souji doing a verbal keysmash, both the Pokegear and him crashes to the ground. Now with a steady and clear view, it seems as if his location is inside an ice cave- a very familiar ice cave.

Dressed in his casual wear, he slowly gets up, trying not to slip on the ice like he has done many times before in his last visit. In his last visit, he has arrived here in his PJs, so he's glad that he at least has a jacket and something thicker. Oh, let's check if he has his Pokemon on him. If it's just like last time, it's be six Magikarps. Let's seeee; ]



[ Screw you too, Johto. Screw you to Hell.

Well, Souji pulls his jacket closer and looks around. ]

Damnit, here again. Great...

[ As if the bruises and cuts from the attack a few days ago isn't enough, he'll probably get more from just slipping around here. He just hopes he doesn't meet anyone in here like last time... Well, let's go ask the network what is up. ]

Has anyone else woken up in a completely new place? Seems almost like in November...

[ Now, someone help him get to that nice rocky path and off this ice. ]

[ The video feed starts up at a very horrible angle, almost as if the gear has been tossed to the side carelessly. In fact, that's exactly what that is what has happened and that this entry is not an ordinary one; it's an accidental one.

As soon as this entry feed opens up on the gear, there will be nothing but loud sounds of screaming and the sound of something-- a combination of what sounds like giant Pokemon all screeching, people screaming, rubble falling everywhere, and-- if anyone has heard this before --the sound of a Hyper Beam being charged up then used. It’s loud and is just filled with disaster, easily heard even if the volume down to the lowest setting.

All of this is occurring by the near entrance of the Goldenrod City where the Yu and Yuudai breeding centre stands; the one centre that its owner has taken the time to find a centre that connects to a house to make it both a place to live and work. This centre has provided many eggs to new homes, new trainers, and has given different people jobs and a place to call their home for a while. It’s a large two-floored building, built strong and stable, easily standing against natural disasters such as storms and strong winds. On the other hand, what can it not stand against?

It’s hard to see anything with the Pokegear thrown to the ground along with it being night time, getting a view of this catastrophe all from a horizontal view, but it takes no genius to figure out what is going on especially with all the noise. Although sometimes foots block the views or sudden waves of dust, everything recorded is clear as day.

Two Gyarados-- one that belongs to Souji Seta and the other of Kagami Hiiragi --sit tall in front of the centre, obviously distressed by a radio signal that they can hear. They trash around, swinging their mighty tails around to keep any that try to come close further back. Already has part of the centre’s second floor have been demolished, easily taken out by a few attacks.

All those inside have left the building though from this angle and the chaos, it’s hard to tell; whenever if all the eggs have been safely moved to the outside and to someplace safe is unknown as well. It’s difficult to tell what’s going on, both through watching the video feed and actually being there in person. With all the loud noise, it’s hard to hear anything properly.

Suddenly, a bright flare blinds the video feed in white and Souji’s loud voice could be heard; ]

Everyone, get down!

[ Followed is the sound of heavy footsteps against rough concrete, screams of both fear and panic, then finally, a loud roar.

Everything shakes and the sound of more rubble falling from yet another part of the building’s second floor collapsing, bricks and sheer destruction flying everywhere.

Souji covers his mouth from the sudden gust of dust everywhere and coughs, his eyes watering. He pulls out his glasses from his breast pocket with his free hand and slips them on, providing him with some kind of protection for his eyes.

He looks up at the centre that he has once called home and work, watching it quickly getting destroyed. As if the two sea dragons haven’t caused enough, a fire begins to start from the dragon rage attack in the second floored room that the eggs have once called home. Noticing this, Souji calls out to everyone once again; ]

Hold off on using wind attacks! The fire can spread!

[ Souji grits his teeth and looks around. He doesn’t have any electric Pokemon strong enough to even last a chance against two powerful creatures such as this. At this point, the one Pokemon that Souji can trust on this was his starter.

He reaches into his bag and pulls out a Pokeball, tossing it in front of him. Out appears his Skarmory, the only one on his team stronger than his Gyarados and has a greater chance of standing against it. Without a moment of hesitation, Souji beings to yell out his command; ]

Izanagi, Steel Wing on both of them!

[ The Skarmory nods and quickly flies over to the two Gyarados, ready to attack until a large tail comes up to swat it away like an annoying fly. Completely taken by surprise and unable to connect its attack, Izagani gets thrown back and nearly crashes straight into its trainer. Souji quickly jumps out of the way, but the Pokemon lands right onto the Pokegear.

With a loud cracking sound of the screen, the feed goes black, leaving only the sounds of the destruction to be remembered. ]



(( ooc: TL;DR? Two large Gyarados are destroying the breeding centre that Souji owns in Goldenrod. There’s fire, rubble, lots of destruction. Everyone inside is out and the eggs are in a safe location, but they have two Pokemon to deal with. Feel free to tag this if your character is in Goldenrod and want to stop the Gyarados before they fully destroy the second floor and then the whole centre! Those can reply their concerns over video, but it might take a while before a message is given back and if done so, with a very cracked looking screen!
