Comparative Religion and Mysticism

It is necessary to know Magi as they considerably influenced the history of Iran and the Zoroastrian religion. Before the spread of Zoroastrianism, Magi, as an influential social class, were the guardians of religion in Iran, particularly in the western regions. Magi worshiped natural phenomena, and while worshipping and holding religious rituals, they sacrificed animals and drank an intoxicating drink called Hoom. This article intends to show that, after the coming of Zoroaster and the spread of his religion, Magi accepted that new religion to maintain their position among the Iranians. Then, they gradually incorporated their beliefs into the Zoroastrian religion after beginning to act as its guardians. Therefore, we can conclude that some common beliefs of Zoroastrianism have their roots in the teachings of the tribe of Magi

Throughout the history of civilization and historical developments, religions have played an essential role. Today the interfaith dialogue has taken on extra significance whereas the religions are actually different and divers and many conflicts and quarrels have done in the name of religion on the other hand. How we can provide a model for principles and guidelines of interfaith dialogue. In recent years, some theories and views have presented about the method and policy of interfaith dialogue and some opportunities were given to apply them regarding promotion of mutual understanding, respect, tolerance and cooperation. However, the introduced solutions remain far from ideal aims. This article will explore some methods of dialogue including triple paradigms of John Hick, Martin Buber's philosophy of dialogue and theory of antiphony by Koyama. Then it will discuss the method of dialogue based on mystical contemplation. In my view, the final presented method could be more secure way of dialogue between religions compared with other ones. The article tries to introduce and present the best useful method, policy and practice of interfaith dialogue by investigating and analyzing these four methods.

In the ancient world, the covenant was a serious agreement that societies attempted to regulate the behavior of individuals and institutions, especially in areas where there was not enough social control in them. Therefore, in the history of religion, the concept of the Covenant is the longstanding concept, which has been emphasized especially in monotheistic religions. The God of the Old Testament sets his own behavior with his servants according to the covenant. The treaty in the Zarathustrianism can be study by the principle of Asha / Artah (Truth) and the practice of Mithra. It is a supernatural law that is one with natural law. This doctrine is considered a metaphysical supporter to all treaties and then, it has played a decisive role in maintaining the moral and social order. The concept of these words and their reflection in these religions are the issues that have been investigated in this study. Despite the considerable differences between these oldest religions in Western Asia, they seem to regard these doctrines as fundamental and have shown it with various shapes and symbols. The essential differences in this regard, are related to the origin of the Covenant, its inclusion, repetition and being exclusion or graduality and significant similarities related to the concept, importance and educational aspect of them. This research has been done by comparative and analytical method with the aim of understanding of this common doctrine to enhance mutual understanding between religions. Discussions: If we consider the covenant and the covenant as the axis of the relationship between God and man, all events, as well as human affairs, are interpreted on the same basis. However, this concept can be considered in terms of similarities and differences in two different fields. First, the Covenant and treaty have a single meaning in both religions. In both of them, with the closure of the treaty, the parties are obligated to perform their duty, and if they fail to do so, they must bear the consequences of it. One of the basic concepts of Christianity and Islam is the "Covenant". The significance and position of this concept in these religions raises these questions: what is the doctrine of the Covenant and what kind of relationship between God and Man is in these two religions. The significance and position of this concept in these two religions leads to the following questions: what is the doctrine of the covenant and what kind of relationship is between God and Man in the two religions? In response to this question, the hypothesis evaluated in a comparative and analytical method is that in both of them the Covenant means the interrelationships between God and Man and the main meaning of it is that God gives life to Man and wants to obey him purely. There are various types of covenant in Christianity, but in Islam there is only one type of covenant. This study concludes that the meaning of the Covenant in Christianity is Jesus Christ own, but in Islam, more attention is paid to the type of man and the Prophet is only the reminder.

In this study, sacred nodes, from the perspective of geographical and cultural breadth, from mythological to religious beliefs and their symbolic meaning, which imply a complexity, connection and hidden secrets, are considered and its purpose, Achieving common ground and general format in different areas. It seems that sacred knots, which are the result of human activity to influence supernatural factors, are within the general framework of sacred bonds and covenants. This research delves into the ancient healing tradition of Gowâti music therapy in Taftan, Baluchestan, with a focus on the cultural beliefs and practices surrounding the Gowâti ceremony. The manuscript also highlights the historical connection between music and spirituality, tracing the roots of music therapy back to ancient Iran. The study is based on a combination of interviews, active participation in the Gowâti ceremony, and consultation with experts. However, access to the private ceremony was restricted, leading to certain limitations in data collection. The findings of this study rely heavily on anecdotal accounts passed down through generations among the residents of the region, as well as information gathered from interviews with the caliph (performer) of music therapy in the area. The main objective of this study is to examine the impact of music and its use as a therapeutic tool, with a specific focus on the unique characteristics of Gowâti music therapy. The findings suggest that this form of music therapy is deeply rooted in religious beliefs, mystical ideologies, and sacrificial rituals.

دارد؟ آیا انتظار نقش آفرینی دانشگاه در این زمینه با رسالت دانشگاه مغایر است یا بالعکس؟ دانشگاه با
چه سازوکاری می تواند به این موضوع بپردازد تا نتایج در خوری به دست آورد؟ زیربنای این آموزش
باید دانش تحول گرا، اخلاق محور و ارزش بنیان باشد. این دانش در وهله نخست موجب شناخت
ارزش ها و اهداف ادیان و در گام بعدی، موجب احترام به ویژگی های فرهنگی و اجتماعی سنت های
دینی مختلف می شود. برنامه ریزی راهبردی برای آموزش گفت وگوی ادیان، رسالت دانشگاهی است که
در پی حقیقت، صلح و رفاه اجتماعی از طریق آموزش و پژوهش است. این مقاله متکفّل تبیین
ضرورت آموزش گفت وگوی ادیان در دانشگاه به شیوۀ تحلیلی و توصیفی است.
