From the findings of the survey, it was shown that strategic control system did assist in improving organizational performance when coupled with LSS. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology was used in developing a tool of Lean Six Sigma Performance Improvement (LSSPI) to measure the performance of automotive companies. This tool was developed by using a system based on Excel. Six case studies were prepared to validate this tool. The result of these case studies suggested that this tool was timely and suitable to determine organizational performance of automotive companies

institution throughout Perak. Information related to mosque
financial fund is vital to be studied as it is an institution responsible for development of Islam in the society. With resources from contributions and donations from various parties, mosque institution is believed to be able to carry out this trusted duty and responsibility. For the purpose of this study, questionnaires were administrated to 617 representatives of mosques in Perak. However, only 357 have responded. The findings show that mosque institution in Perak has a considerable amount of financial fund from both cash deposit as well as owned assets. It is found that the institutions’ cash deposit in bank as at December 2011 amounting to RM8.5 million. This situation indirectly indicates that the mosque institution should be more active and progressive in giving greater spillover impact to Muslim society in contributing to the development of Perak.

proposes to utilise quantitative design as a main approach to answer the research question. The data will be collected by using survey questionnaires. The sample of this study will consist of manufacturing companies which are listed in the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) Directory. The structural equation modelling (SEM) approach will be employed in order to test the proposed hypotheses in this study. Evidence from previous research has supported the advantages of keeping long lasting inter-firm relationships. Scholars suggest that inter-firm relationships will enable both parties to enjoy overall business performance and new product development opportunity. The literature findings confirmed the notion that technological capability can create competitive advantage for members of the supply chain. However, possessing such capability may create power imbalance which leads to deterioration of the inter-firm relationship. The manufacturing companies can benefits from this study by understanding the potential impact of technological capability on power, and how this association affect the inter-firm relationships. It may furnish useful information on the advantages and disadvantages of possessing such capability which can be the basis of making future investment decision related to the technological capability expansion.

The questionnaires were designed and distributed to the 50 respondents. The results of reliability analysis show that customer focus is a critical factor
influencing the direct LMP implementation success. This study recommends that the future research explore the influence of LMP on environmental performance in Malaysian automotive industry.
