Gabriel von Wendt
Gabriel von Wendt is a university professor with experience in the elaboration and dissemination of philosophical ideas for various areas of society through courses, programs and training.
In his work he focuses above all on the phenomenon of cultural changes, on the existential development of the human person and on the work of Romano Guardini.
He works as a professor of philosophical anthropology and philosophy of culture at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome.
He is co-founder and co-director of the research line "Dialogue in Postmodern Culture", which seeks to train and accompany people to engage in difficult conversations in polarized contexts in order to develop models of cultural impact from a grounded and open Catholic perspective. This is what the publication Catholic Worldview (2023) corresponds to.
For his doctoral thesis in philosophy, he researched models of human development based on Romano Guardini's theory of polar opposition. This corresponds to the publication Melodie des Werdens (2024), which was awarded by the Görres-Gesellschaft and the Alfred-Petzelt Foundation (Germany) in the category of pedagogical sciences.
Supervisors: Juan Gabriel Ascencio and Hanna-Barbara Gerl-Falkovitz
