These main output technological parameters at μEDM are not as good as they are expected due to instability of material removal process and long duration of gas bubble formed around plasma channel. The ultrasonic longitudinal oscillations of ...

The working parameters used at μEDM were analyzed in comparison with classic EDM ones, identifying some weaknesses of μEDM. Different initial microgeometries were considered in order to study the material removal process. Some recommendations ...

A comparison is made between the volume of material removed with positive polarity (by commanded pulses) and negative polarity (by relaxation pulses) and their effect on removal rate at classic EDM and EDM+US. In order to take advantage of bubbles collective implosion from frontal working gap ultrasonically induced, some technological recommendations are elaborated.

The technological performances and requirements of EDM were extensively analyzed. Microhole as well as microprotuberance shapes were considered in order to establish their influence on crater volumes, and implicitly, to removal mechanism. Two cases are compared: micromachining with and without ultrasonic aiding. Some recommendations aiming at improved control of material removal process were formulated.
Greece ∙ Flight 9525 Crash: Balance Between the Rights of Medical Confidentiality and the General Right of Public Safety under Greek Law

Medical confidentiality is a fundamental right, but, as all rights, it shouldn’t be implemented unlimitedly, in all cases and at any cost. This paper examines exactly the balance between professional secrecy and safety under the Greek law system.
