
Kumar Bishwajit Sutradhar
Dr Kumar Bishwajit Sutradhar is an early career researcher in the field of nanomaterial fabrication and target-specific cancer drug delivery. He received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering at The University of New South Wales (UNSW). He received his Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Technology from The University of Asia Pacific. Prior to beginning the PhD program, he worked for four years as a Senior Lecturer in the Pharmacy Department at Stamford University Bangladesh. During that period he was associated with different research projects including drug formulation and development using natural polymers. He participated in several poster and oral presentations and published several articles in different reputed local and international peer-reviewed journals. From this experience, he developed an interest in how nanoparticles can be designed and developed effectively against cancer. His current work focuses on developing target-specific cerium oxide nanoparticles to treat cancer.
