Boga Andri (2016): Morphological diversity in fourteen cultivars Tiron village, Kediri, Indonesia.-Genetika, vol 48, no. 1, 1-8. Tiron village, Kediri is one of central mangoes in Indonesia. Many cultivar of mangoes encountered at this location. This study aims to look at the diversity of mango cultivars in the Tiron Village, Kediri, Indonesia. Mangoes diversity is based on qualitative and quantitative character of each cultivar. The diversity among cultivar indicated by the standard deviation and variance in the eleven quantitative characters of mango. Mango cultivars categorized by phylogeny morphological characters. The method used for phylogeny analysis is an UPGMA method (unweighted pair group method with arithmetic mean). Phylogenic analysis is based by the qualitative character of the plant. The results showed there were fourteen cultivars of mango in the village of Tiron Kediri have high diversity. Fourteen mango cultivars were categorized four groups. Based on a qualitative character, there are four classes of mango. The first group is the Katul, Podang Urang, and Podang Lumut. The second group is the Gadung, Jaran, Madu, Endog, Pakel, Dodonilo, Ireng, Lanang and Cantek. Santok Kapur into groups to form groups of three and Kopyor fourth. The high diversity in the village mango Tiron Kediri potential for resource in situ germplasm.

Path coefficient can define coefficient correlation directly and indirectly to gain information about nature relationship between yield component and protein content to grain yield. Research material consisted of 61 selected plants from G39×Ciherang and 66 selected plants from Mentik Wangi×G39 at F4 generation. Plants were planted in Banyumas in May 2011. Number of panicles per plant, panicle length, 1000 g of grain weight, percentage of filled grain per panicle, protein content, and grain yield were correlated by using Pearson correlation and were followed by path coefficient. Number of panicles per plant, panicle length, 1000 g of grain weight, percentage filled grain per panicle, and protein content were used as dependent variable, while grain yield was used as independent variable. The result showed that protein content in both populations was not correlated with all yield components. The numbers of panicles, followed by panicle length, had highest positive direct effect to yield. The number of panicle was a positive mediator variable to yield from another variable.

Stability shallot production is very important to keep the shallot supply in market. Shallot varieties assessment for every condition and location was important to gain information about yield potential. Shallot varieties grown during the off season has many problems. The problem occured because physiology and plant pathology problem. I’ts affected shallot production. These research material used four varieties are widely used in East Java. The varieties are bauji, batu ijo, biru lancor and super philip. Shallot was planted at November to December 2014. The plants were planted in a randomized block design. The results showed that ecological conditions in off season caused plant height, weight per plant, and yield potential has a value in the broad sense heritability estimates were high. Anthracnose and fusarium wilt disease intensity at this research were affected by environment environment condition. The purple blotch disease intensity was affected by genotype eventhough environmental condition also affected purple blotch especially on batu ijo variety.
