This weekend, I’ll be spending time in Indianapolis with a group friends reflecting about our efforts in community building. Since I’m a noob at painting, I totally forgot to pack the goods aka paint. Fortunately, I brought a pack of pens, pencils and highlighters.
Though today was mostly filled with laundry, packing and driving, I was happy to make it in time to pray with friends from Indiana, Ohio and Michigan and hear about how their community celebrated the 200th Anniversary of the Birth of Baha’u’llah.
As I sit here thinking about everything that I need to do and how far behind I am, I remind myself of what ‘Abdu’l-Baha said:
Perseverance is an essential condition. In every project firmness and steadfastness will undoubtedly lead to good results; otherwise it will exist for some days, and then be discontinued.
(‘Abdu’l-Bahá, The Compilation of Compilations vol. I, p. 291)
Reminding myself to slow down, take my time and persevere. Looking forward to connecting hearts this weekend. Hope you enjoy this drawing:]
