The purpose of a job interview is twofold: It offers the employer a valuable insight into a candidates personality and abilities, and allows the candidate the chance to discern whether his or her credentials and career goals match up with what the company seeks. The study made its effort to get the information what is required for the designing and conducting an effective interview. The study also revealed a set of questionnaire for a faculty vacant place for human resource management. The study believes that a proper understanding and practices of the structured interview process can enable an organization to get its right person for the right job.
