Present affiliation with the University of Tours, EMAM ( Mediterranean and Arab World Studies) Research Center. Main fields of concern are:  crises and conflicts, the impact of globalization on economies and societies, urban and country planning and management, environmental hazards...Main areas of intervention : Near East ( Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraqi Kurdistan), the Gulf (GCC countries), the Nile Basin (Egypt, Sudan, Southern Sudan, Eritrea and Ethiopia).
