A ampliacao de estudantes e culturas possiveis no ambiente universitario leva a questionamentos sobre a formacao dos professores para atuarem nesse novo cenario. Na dinâmica das relacoes em ambiente educacional sob diversidade cultural e, ainda, em um mundo em que a tecnologia esta presente de forma ubiqua, a atuacao docente exige mais do que transmitir informacoes. Torna-se essencial que as praticas pedagogicas incorporem as novas tecnologias, as quais ja estao presentes na vida dos estudantes, sob pena de tornar o ensino e a aprendizagem distante do contexto de competencias requeridas nas relacoes sem fronteiras. Associado a isso, os planos para o ensino devem considerar a interculturalidade no ambiente educacional, promovendo a integracao dos estudantes diante da diversidade.

Neste trabalho, de cunho descritivo e exploratorio, apresenta-se um estudo de caso qualitativo sobre a preparacao de professores, da Universidade Tiradentes de Sergipe, para o uso de tecnologias da Google, verificando a aplicacao do - Google Classroom - nas praticas educacionais docentes. Sendo possivel concluir que a preparacao dos docentes para a incorporacao de tecnologias nas pra ticas dida tico-pedagogicas, demanda-se de previas averiguacoes como o nivel de conhecimento dos docentes e as condicoes estruturais e tecnolo gicas da IES.

O trabalho trata sobre a adoção do framework Scrum como ferramenta para gestão de projeto de soft... more O trabalho trata sobre a adoção do framework Scrum como ferramenta para gestão de projeto de software, apresentando um estudo de caso com alunos de iniciação científica de uma universidade da região nordeste brasileira. Buscou-se analisar se a utilização do Scrum por desenvolvedores ainda em formação acadêmica contribui para a agilidade no processo de implementação do produto, permitindo uma maior integração entre a equipe. Os resultados apontaram que a adoção do Scrum se mostra eficaz não apenas para a gestão do projeto, como também e, principalmente, para a promoção da autonomia dos estudantes em relação ao aprendizado e à tomada de decisão. Esses aspectos tornam-se relevantes para uma formação integral dos estudantes, podendo constituir bases para investigações futuras sobre a utilização de ferramentas tecnológicas e métodos ágeis na educação.Palavras-chave: Framework Scrum. Porém, ainda há uma enorme quantidade de sistemas legados com a arquitetura monolítica. Para um aproveitamento das vantagens da arquitetura de microsserviços, é necessária uma migração. A migração de sistemas monolíticos para arquitetura de microsserviços possui dificuldades, tais como carência de desenvolvedores especialistas em microsserviços e tempo despendido para a migração. Esta pesquisa visa propor uma alternativa para uma migração mais eficiente, com maior nível de automatização, auxiliando programadores independente de sua experiência em microsserviços.

It was seeking to analyze the accomplishment of the students with the Scrum practices, as well the percepetion of the learning of the methodology, showing the positive aspects and the negative ones through this experience. As a conclusion, the Scrum methodology is indicated to manage projects even when the team has limited or none experience promoting the learning, adding value and satisfaction to the student.

As empirical research, we presented an experiment conducted in the Software Engineering Laboratory (LES) course of a Private University (Tiradentes University) in the Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Systems courses. This experiment demonstrated the fundamentals in verifying the learning difficulties of students. Collected data were subjected not only to quantitative analysis but also to appropriate statistical analysis. The results showed a reduction in student absences, higher student satisfaction rate and higher grades in the courses. Furthermore, our approach allowed students to deliver a product in a short period, representing a possibility of adoption of BDD due to their successful learning experience.

This work deals with the journals in the area of Education classified in the last available Brazi... more This work deals with the journals in the area of Education classified in the last available Brazilian Qualis database, period 2013–2016, seeking to analyze the alignment of the strata to international bibliometric criteria. The impact of a journal implies its internationalization, which is a standard adopted worldwide. This subject has been gaining prominence in higher education and research institutions, which began to consider the production of their researchers in indexed journals. Considering the national and international relevance and the fact that they aggregate publications from various fields, we used data from the Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) databases. The results show that belonging to the most relevant international bases is not among the Capes requirements for the classification of journals, and also that there is a relatively low number of journals with a real impact for scientific dissemination in the field of Education. The conclusions indicate that, in the current scenario, researchers in this field will continue to publish their work in journals with little or no impact, making the output of Brazilian research remain without prominence at an international level. To ensure that the Qualis stratification in the field of Education does not distance itself from the international context, it is necessary to adopt criteria that privilege factors such as adherence to WoS and Scopus, especially for the A1 and A2 journals, considered of highest quality.

RESUMO: Este trabalho buscou caracterizar o estado de conhecimento acerca da formação docente par... more RESUMO: Este trabalho buscou caracterizar o estado de conhecimento acerca da formação docente para a educação profissional, a partir de publicações no portal de periódicos da CAPES até o ano de 2017. Utilizou-se como procedimento metodológico o mapeamento sistemático, sob um protocolo de pesquisa que visou identificar como é abordada a formação de professores para esse ramo educacional nas produções científicas, no tocante aos tipos de cursos para docentes e ao âmbito de aplicação da formação. Os resultados indicaram apenas cinco produções relacionadas ao tema, restritas a dois periódicos, focando-se em proposições de formação por meio da educação continuada e licenciatura específica, e aplicando-se a professores de todos os níveis de educação profissional. Dessa forma, o cenário identificado neste mapeamento aponta fragilidades que permeiam o conhecimento sobre a formação de professores desse campo educacional. Palavras-chave: Educação profissional. Intelligent conversation systems have been more and more used in modern technology, however, the ... more Intelligent conversation systems have been more and more used in modern technology, however, the number of scientific publications that aim to disseminate knowledge about the development of these applications, is a small number if compared to the number of publications that promote results of the applications already created. This paper aims to reproduce a conversation system based on information available in academic contexts. To address this issue, we built a chatbot able to hold a natural conversation with a human being, namely making questions, searching and giving suggestions. Finally, the results found were promising for a preliminary application.

This new trend has resulted from the convergence of wear able computing , wireless networking and mobile virtual reality interfaces. This work provides a survey of different mobile technologies that are useful to build virtual reality applications running through mobile devices. Our aim is to place those technologies into different categories so that it becomes easier to understand the state of art and to help identify new directions of research. A comparison of attributes of each technology is also summarized.
The widespread use of virtual worlds has motivated teachers to exploit innovative features of int... more The widespread use of virtual worlds has motivated teachers to exploit innovative features of interactive 3D environments to maximize students learning experience by means of virtual courses. One of the main challenges in distance learning is the lack of tools that teachers need to use. Typically, virtual worlds are used for educational purposes; however, they fail to be specially adapted for dealing with a virtual course. In this paper, we present KTeacher, a kinect-based tool to support the development of virtual courses. To validate KTeacher, we designed a virtual course and compared it with the same course offered with a widely used tool in distance education. After conducting both courses, we measured aspects related to usability, functionality and perception of KTeacher from the student and teacher viewpoints through a survey. Finally, the results show that students’ opinions were considerably positive as for the sense of immersion and interest generated by KTeacher. Moreover, teachers were satisfied with the possibility of easily editing the classes developed with KTeacher.

O objetivo deste estudo foi compreender os aspectos que se impõem como desafios e oportunidades p... more O objetivo deste estudo foi compreender os aspectos que se impõem como desafios e oportunidades para o grupo profissional dos secretários componentes da geração Y, avaliando-os diante das âncoras de carreira de Schein (1996), e verificando as possibilidades de integração das expectativas e motivações dessa geração no respectivo campo de atuação. A relevância do foco sobre o grupo investigado é identificada na constatação de que o secretariado integra as atividades de dirigentes, constituindo uma força mediadora para os trabalhos dos executivos, implicando, assim, na gestão das organizações. O embasamento teórico relaciona-se às colocações de Mintzberg (2003), Pinto (2000) e Erickson, Danis, Helander e Kellog (2008). A partir das oito categorias de sustentação de uma carreira, envolvendo autonomia, segurança, competências técnicas-funcionais e gerenciais, criatividade, serviço a uma causa, desafios e estilo de vida, investigou-se 160 secretários, na faixa etária da geração Y. Os resultados apontam que a multiplicidade de tarefas do posto de secretário é entendida como um desafio motivador, enquanto que carências sobre competências técnicas e o fato do posto se encontrar no topo da carreira podem representar obstáculos em relação aos anseios dessa geração.

Um mapeamento sistemático é um método para construir um esquema de classificação e estruturar um tema de pesquisa. A análise dos resultados centra-se em frequências de publicações para categorias dentro do esquema. Por isso, a cobertura do campo de pesquisa pode ser determinada. Diferentes formas de pesquisas podem ser combinadas para responder a questões de pesquisa mais específicas. Assim, este estudo tem como método a analise bibliográfica e posteriormente uma definição de um processo de mapeamento sistemático, como resultado descrevo um processo para estudos de mapeamento sistemático de educação com base na literatura corrente e com base nisso, as diretrizes para a elaboração de mapas sistemáticos são definidas. ABSTRACT: The objective of this paper is to propose a systematic mapping model in education, providing guidelines based on the concept of abduction. In this descriptive and exploratory work, a qualitative case study on the preparation of teachers, from the Tiradentes University of Sergipe, is presented for the use of Google technologies, verifying the application of the - Google Classroom - in educational practices. It is possible to conclude that the preparation of teachers for the incorporation of technologies in didactic-pedagogical practices requires previous inquiries such as the level of knowledge of teachers and the structural and technological conditions of HEI.

Este trabalho apresenta uma análise da produção acadêmica sobre a educação no século XIX, publica... more Este trabalho apresenta uma análise da produção acadêmica sobre a educação no século XIX, publicada em periódicos indexados no Portal de Periódicos da Capes, no último quadriênio 2013-2016. O estudo adotou como método o mapeamento sistemático de literatura, buscando-se construir o estado do conhecimento. Os resultados indicaram dezessete artigos, com predominância de autoria entre produções elaboradas por dois ou três pesquisadores. Também se obteve a constatação de que, à exceção de um autor, os pesquisadores não obtiveram produção continuada, publicada em periódicos, no campo e período investigados.
