
Raffaella Santucci
Raffaella Santucci holds a PhD in Digital Technologies Applied to the Arts and Humanities from the University of Rome "La Sapienza". She has over 15 years of experience in project/innovation management for academia, cultural heritage institutions, creative industries, and municipalities. In the last few years her work has focused on promoting and coordinating large-scale European and international projects. Her experience encompasses proposal and grants management, budgeting, team-building, cultural/technical mediation, organization of promotional events and media strategies. She acts or has acted as a consultant for several institutions, including Sapienza - University of Rome, Coventry University, the Auditorium in Rome (Musica per Roma), Sapienza Innovazione, Promoter SrL, Codice Idee per la Cultura, Wikimedia Italia and QED F&S Productions. On behalf of DISIT, University of Florence, she managed the networking and communication activities of the EC-funded project ECLAP - E-Library for the Perfoming Arts. On behalf of Digilab, Sapienza, University of Rome, she worked as project/innovation manager and director of communications for the following EC-funded projects: Linked Heritage, DiXiT: Digital Scholarly Editions Initial Training Network and EAGLE-Europeana network of Ancient Greek and Latin Epigraphy. She was also Italy’s Project Bamboo representative (together with Dr. Luca Giberti) on behalf of University of California Berkeley. Additional achievements include collaborations with prominent figures in the field of theatre, most notably Dario Fo and Bruce Myers.

Here are assembled for the first time in a unique volume contributions regarding all aspects of Digital Epigraphy: Models, Vocabularies, Translations, User Engagements, Image Analysis, 3D methodologies, and ongoing projects at the cutting edge of digital humanities. The scope of this book is not limited to Greek and Latin epigraphy; it provides an overview of projects related to all epigraphic inquiry and its related communities. This approach intends to furnish the reader with the broadest possible perspective of the discipline, while at the same time giving due attention to the specifics of unique issues.
