A new species which has been first time reported by Lalpotu, from intestine of Periplaneta americana (1976). Later the same species is described by Bhandari (2010) from millipede Trigoniulus corallines. The present species is again re-described in the intestine of Millipede, Chondromorpha kelaarti by present author. It shows similarity to both the previous individuals of the species, only it is slightly larger than Bhandari's species and smaller than that of Lalpotu (n. sp. 1976). Percentage of prevalence was observed for a period of two years, January 2007 to December 2008, it was 47.24% and 55.16% respectively.

Millipedes used in this study were randomly collected from Nashik district of Maharashtra from January 2007 to December 2008. Among 1794 millipedes examined, our results showed that the total prevalence rate for cephaline gregarines was 59.92%. In some cases, more than two species of different gregarines were found to have simultaneously parasitized a single millipede. Distribution of gregarines was more concentrated in the anterior and middle parts of the intestine than in the posterior part. The predominant forms observed in the millipede's intestine were free sporadins. The shape, size, and movement of these gregarines are described.

The oxygen consumption has been estimated by after exposing the gastropods.

During our investigation three new species i.e. Eimeria nikamae, Eimeria tarabaie, Eimeria shivpuri, were recorded in Broiler chicken from Aurangabad district of Maharashtra.

A carrier with many flight plans is granted a larger share of available capacity than one with only a few. Such an allocation mechanism may be fair, in some sense, but it does not necessarily reflect the user's willingness-to-pay for priority in times of demand-capacity imbalances. Some higher-valued users may be delayed or face potential cancellations when they would be willing to pay more than lower-valued users who were given service under the current allocation process. During the discussion of the current allocation system, we note the benefit of the incentive to cooperate built into the cooperative decision-making process. One remedy to this problem is to implement a market-based traffic flow management scheme in the national airspace system (NAS). A wide variety of market based concepts are conceivable. We discuss a study that examines market-based concepts, down-selects to a simple concept of allocating permits that can be bought and sold, and testing these concepts in a human-in-the-loop simulation. Abstract: Engineering students are generally exposed to engineering design problems during the later stages of their educational programs. While the early years are invaluable to establish a foundation necessary for advanced engineering courses, the engineering students lack perspective on what an engineer does in real life that may result in loss of interest in their fields. This poster presentation reports on two separate introductory engineering courses developed to stimulate student interest and engagement in their fields. One of these courses, "Exploring Engineering", is designed for all freshman engineering major students at Istanbul Bilgi University to introduce them to the field of engineering in general. This course, a combination of lecture and laboratory sessions, is linked to an English for Academic Purposes course, and involves a semester long engineering conceptual design team project. The second course, Elementary Product and Process Design, is designed for Industrial Engineering students. Through learning to design a product or a process, industrial engineering students are exposed to general concepts in their fields. This course also involves a semester long team project that focuses on conceptual product design. Resources and tools used and the structure of the courses are also presented in this poster. Abstract: We discuss a new fourth-year high school course in industrial engineering and operations research. The course is based on the NSF-funded Project MINDSET (PIs Ken Chelst of Wayne State and Robert Young of North Carolina State), and is currently running in several states in the United States; the implementation in Georgia has largely been the result of a grassroots campaign at little cost. The course features deterministic and stochastic components, with an emphasis on real-world examples, and has been enthusiastically endorsed by high school administrators, teachers, and students. We will detail course content, implementation experiences, and plans for future course content and expansion.
