Giorgio Cuzzelli is a retired Brigadier General of the Italian Army with a significant command- and staff experience at tactical-, operational- and strategic level in demanding joint- and multinational settings. His background covers policy making, international relations, global security, risk assessment, crisis and operations management, supervision of complex organizations, force planning, training and education. He teaches International Relations, Security Studies and Strategic Studies at graduate- and post-graduate level in academic institutions in Italy and abroad.
His academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Management & Organization (Viterbo, Italy, 2011), a Master’s Degree in International Studies (Naples, Italy, 2014), a Diploma for Graduates in International Development (London, United Kingdom, 2016) and shorter, International Relations-oriented courses in Italy and abroad.
He is also a graduate of the Italian Army Staff College (Civitavecchia, Italy, 1994 and 1996) , the Joint Services Staff College (ISSMI) (Rome, Italy, 1997) and the Institute for Advanced Defence Studies (IASD) (Rome, Italy, 2009).
