The availability vaires dependig on their place of conservation, libraries or archives, and thier actual location, detached or in situ. Even if nowadays catalogues, both of manuscripts and incunabula, fragments are reported and often described, still unsatisfying is their availability in indexes of these publications, whre they do not have a specific entry. Monumenti storici e documenti d'archivio I «Materiali e Documenti ticinesi» (MDt) quali fonti per... more Monumenti storici e documenti d'archivio I «Materiali e Documenti ticinesi» (MDt) quali fonti per la storia e le ricerche sull'architettura e l'arte medievale delle tre Valli M a r I n a b e r n a s c o n I r e u s s e r * Le schede sono ordinate alfabeticamente per comune -si è tenuto conto della situazione precedente le fusioni di comuni che hanno interessato, e che ancora interessano, il canton ticino a partire dalla metà degli anni '90 -e, all'interno di questi, per frazioni. 1. nella prima parte della scheda vengono riassunte le conoscenze storiche riguardanti l'edificio, religioso o civile, e gli eventuali nuovi elementi dedotti dallo spoglio dei documenti pubblicati. nel caso di situazioni storiche molto complesse, come quelle riguardanti la chiesa prepositurale di biasca, o quella della parrocchia di Faido-Mairengo in epoca medievale, o infine la presenza di ospizi degli umiliati, si è preferito rimandare agli approfonditi ed esaurienti studi già esistenti. a questo primo paragrafo segue una breve illustrazione della situazione piú propriamente architettonica ed artistica: fasi di costruzione, con particolare attenzione a quella medievale, descrizione della situazione attuale, recenti indagine archeologiche e da ultimo eventuali revisioni e proposte di datazione in base ai nuovi dati acquisiti.

Il existe toutefois quelques vestiges importants de l'époque médiévale ainsi que des manuscrits dans des fonds privés. Dans l'article sont présentés les résultats d'un recensement auprès des principales institutions du canton en vue de la réalisation d'un catalogue scientifique.

Il contributo vuole far conoscere queste cuciture e avanzare una prima proposta di terminoligia e classificazione. La presenza nel monastero di oggetti tessili della stessa epoca invita a riflettere su eventuali scambi e influssi reciproci tra miniatura, tessitura e rammendi.

The project Ticinensia disiecta, launched in 2020 and hosted by Fragmentarium, inventories, catal... more The project Ticinensia disiecta, launched in 2020 and hosted by Fragmentarium, inventories, catalogues and studies medieval manuscript fragments in the Latin alphabet preserved in libraries in the canton of Ticino (Switzerland), with a focus on in situ fragments. The first part of the project concentrates on the library collection of the Capuchin convent of Madonna del Sasso in Orselina, which is fully catalogued in the library system (SBT) of the canton of Ticino. The study and online publication of these fragments helps sketch the circulation, use and perhaps production of medieval manuscripts in this area, as well as examine the practices of their reuse in the binding of books produced between the fifteenth and eighteenth centuries. Among the first results obtained is the discovery of a fragment of a laudario, one of the the oldest witnesses to the Lombard vernacular preserved in Ticino.

The exhibition present a selection of publications from Basel that today are distributed in diverse locations, while having been conserved in libraries of our region for centuries, prior to the ecclesiastical confiscations in the nineteenth century.
Special emphasis is put on the circulation of humanistic works in territories considered in this epoch to be culturally backward, and on the presence of texts published in a Protestant city within a context of the Catholic faith. From the first Indexes of prohibited books, in the middle of the sixteenth century, many authors and many texts were removed from religious libraries. However, in several cases they could avoid being prohibited through simple strategems that allowed these books to be read and conserved in conventual collections, where they have survived.
Presso il Santuario sono stati censiti circa 200 frammenti manoscritti conservati in situ e alcune decine di coperte staccate risalenti al periodo tra il X e il XVI secolo. A partire dal 2020 è in corso la loro descrizione approfondita all’interno della banca dati internazionale fragmentarium.ms.
In un’epoca in cui la frammentologia sta destando un significativo interesse tra le discipline umanistiche, le domande alle quali lo studio di questi membra disiecta tenta di rispondere sono molteplici: i codici riutilizzati parzialmente come materiale di legatoria si trovavano già in territorio locarnese o provenivano da altre aree geografiche? Quali opere sono testimoniate? È possibile riconoscere una pratica di riutilizzo tipica dei Minori conventuali o dei Cappuccini?
