
Luis Fernando Espinosa Cocian
Luis Fernando Espinosa Cocian holds qualifications as an Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Systems Analysis and Development, and a Teaching Degree for Professional Engineering Education. He has a Master's degree in Electroelectronic Instrumentation, postgraduate degrees in Clinical Biomedical Engineering and Occupational Safety Engineering, as well as an MBA in Educational Unit Management. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Subsequently, he earned a Master's degree in Electroelectronic Instrumentation Engineering from the same university. He obtained the title of Occupational Safety Engineer from Ulbra/RS and completed his training in Biomedical Engineering with an emphasis on Clinical Engineering at UNESA/RJ. He graduated in Systems Analysis and Development from UNESA/RJ, Mechanical Engineering from LaSalle University, and a Teaching Degree for Professional Engineering Education from the Federal Institute Farroupilha. He served as a course coordinator and professor for Electrical Engineering and Industrial Automation courses at the Lutheran University of Brazil, as well as coordinator of the Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications courses at Unilasalle, where he also taught these courses and Computer Science. He was a professor of engineering courses at FTEC. He worked as an Automation Systems Engineer at Altus S.A. and Novus Automation. He was the technical responsible engineer for projects at the companies Nova Era Instalações e Construções Ltda., Pryme Ltda., Primare, and Eletrotec Sistemas de Energia. He is a founding partner of Mater Matris Technae Ltda. He also worked at Fratelli Energias Renováveis, where he developed electromagnetic generators and electronic systems for alternative energy. Currently, he is a professor in the Electrical Engineering course at the Regional University of Northwestern Rio Grande do Sul – Unijuí. He is the author of several books and technical publications in the fields of engineering and computing. His areas of interest include instrumentation systems, energy, computing, electronics, communication networks, industrial automation, robotics, and their relationships with safety engineering and clinical biomedical engineering. His professional experience includes roles in leadership, coordination, management, supervision, administration, projects, and safety.
