I am currently conducting my PhD research on the creative process of the Catalan architect Enric Miralles through the lens of Surrealism at UNIFESP – Federal University of São Paulo, within the EFLCH – School of Philosophy, Languages, and Human Sciences (Guarulhos campus), as part of the Graduate Program in Art History (PPGHA), under the supervision of Prof. Jens Baumgarten. This research is also being co-supervised by Prof. Salvador Gilabert Sanz at UPC – Polytechnic University of Catalonia, through ETSAB – Barcelona School of Architecture, within the Architectural, Civil and Urban Heritage and Refurbishment of Existing Buildings PhD program, under a joint supervision agreement between UNIFESP and UPC.
In July 2025, marking the 25th anniversary of Enric Miralles’ passing, I will be in Barcelona for the first phase of my fieldwork, visiting his architectural works in the city. Special attention will be given to the Igualada Cemetery, Mollet Park, and Diagonal Mar Park—landmark projects within Miralles’ oeuvre.
By applying the Surrealist method of automatic drawing, which Miralles himself deeply admired, I aim to investigate his work through drawing and corporeal experience—an approach that, without a doubt, he would have approved of.
MArch degree by IAU-USP (2022) with 'Diagrams of Rem Koolhaas and the spatialization of the program, 1972-1992' dissertation supervised by Prof.Dr. David Moreno Sperling.
Graduated from Unicamp in 2005. I had worked as architect, coordinator architect, project manager and construction manager for Pedro Paulo de Melo Saraiva, Cecília Vicente de Azevedo, Edo Rocha, Athiê Wohnrath, Arthur Luiz Pitta, BR Properties and Hauz Engenharia. I have about 30,000 hours of technical work and the projects I've participated account 300,000 m² of constructed area.
