
Paulo Rosenblatt
Paulo Rosenblatt holds a PhD on tax law from the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London. His supervisor was Philip Baker, QC. He graduated in Law at the Faculty of Law of Recife (Faculdade de Direito do Recife – UFPE, Brazil), where he also completed his MA in Public Law, with distinction. He published a book on “General Anti-Avoidance Rules for Major Developing Countries" by Kluwer Law International (2015). He has also published another book and several papers on national and international tax journals. Since 2005, he lectures Tax Law and, from 2014, he is a Tax Law Assistant Professor at the Catholic University of Pernambuco (UNICAP). He worked as a qualified lawyer and a Senior Tax Consultant at Manzi Advogados law firm for 15 years, where he advised on national and international tax planning. Since 2015, he is a partner of Ferreira Lima, Bartilotti and Rosenblatt Advogados law firm. He also works as a Public Attorney for the Government of the State of Pernambuco (Procuradoria do Estado).
