
Andrea Maxia
Andrea Maxia graduated from the University of Cagliari, Cagliari, Italy, completing a combined B.S. and M.S. degree in natural sciences, awarded with distinction, specializing in nature conservation and natural resources management. In 2015, Maxia was appointed as an Associate Professor in pharmaceutical botany at the Faculty of Biology and Pharmacy. In 2006, after completing his Ph.D. degree in pharmacology of medicinal plants at the University of Cagliari, which was funded by the same university, he joined the Faculty of Biology and Pharmacy as a Researcher in pharmaceutical botany and as a Lecturer on plant biology, plant systematics, and pharmaceutical botany.
