Since 2004 I’ve been Research Fellow in the field of Private law (IUS/01) at the University of Brescia – Law Faculty
EDUCATION
In 2004 I took my Ph.D. in Private Law (XVI cicle) at University of Pisa (coordinated by prof. Umberto Breccia). I graduated in Law at Brescia University in 110/110 (cum laude) with honors presenting a dissertation in Private Law about New regulations on Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts.
RESEARCH ACTIVITY
In the past years I took part in several research projects cofinanced by the Italian Government and CNR (Consiglio nazionale delle ricerche):
2007 – PRIN 20077245P2_003 Legal transfer of goods and unlawfulness between full compensation and restitution;
2005 - PRIN (2005121929_003) Innovation, science, technology, rules and liability. Legal and economic perspectives;
2004 - C.N.R.-Agenzia2000, (CNRC00A21B_004) Sovranational principles in personal injury damages recovery.
2003 - C.N.R.-Agenzia2000, (CNRC00FE39_003) Organs and human tissues and transplants;

RESEARCH ACTIVITY ABROAD
In November 2009 I've been Visiting Scholar at the Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, CA.
In November 2008 I was invited as a visiting fellow at the The Institute of European and Comparative Law, University of Oxford, Uk, Faculty of Law. On Thursday 27 November 2008 I held a seminar for the Comparative Law Discussion Group on the topic: Full Compensation Principle in European Tort Law.
TEACHING APPOINTMENTS
Since 2007/08 I've been teaching Private Law at Brescia Law School.
Since 2002/03 I’ve been coordinating the Cyber Law course at the Post Graduate School for Legal Professions in the Brescia University. Since academic year 2006/07 I’ve been teaching E-commerce Law in Brescia Law School; since 2003/04 I’ve been teaching Sport and Private Law in University of Brescia Medicine and Surgery Faculty (curriculum in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine)
In the period 2002/03-2005/06 I taught “Information Technology and Law” (Informatica giuridica) at Brescia Law School; from 2000/01 to 2002/03 I taught in a module in the course of “Informatica giuridica”.
PUBLICATIONS
I wrote several articles, comments and essays in law journals about non pecuniary losses, personal injury, distance marketing of consumer financial services
TEACHING INTERESTS
Currently, I give undergraduate lectures in Sport and Law and Cyberlaw dealing principally with digital signatures and electronic document; e-contract, e-privacy; ISP liability, Online Dispute Resolution.
I give tutorials in Privacy and Data Protection and Insurance Law.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research interest is focused on Full Compensation Principle in Tort Law, Punitive damages, Peine privée and the Functions of Tort Law.
