The research focuses on iconographic changes that have affected some prodigious creatures of classic bestiary: Cerberus, the mermaids and the sea dragons. The aim of this study is to analyze how some of these creatures have been handed down, from one culture to the other, at iconographic level.
This dissertation briefly analyzes the various versions of the myth of Heracles / Hercules over time, then it examines how filmmakers and cartoonists have reinterpreted it in their works, with similarities and differences.
