I'm studying Early Modern trade in an area that I like to call Eurasia because my research field doesn't divide between these two continents. . It's a history of globalisation. Recently, I have taken up a study in chemistry in order to add archaeometry to my toolbox. Mastering a field that allows for a quantification up to the last atom appeals to me as an economic historian. I aim to write a dissertation in this field.
Aside from that, I'm interested in Celtic Studies and general linguistics as a kind of hobby.
