Ja... more Japan is often referred as an abnormal state that different with the other independent states. Japan may not possess or develop its own military force since Japan’s capitulation to allies. Furthermore, Japan involved in a security alliance agreement with the United States in which the defense and security of Japan was under U.S. protection. However, under the reign of his new prime minister, Shinzo Abe, Japan began to make changes in terms of his defense and security policy. Japan began to increase its military strength with a reason to keep the peace of the world, primarily regional peace. From this statement it is clear that Japan tried to keep pace with China in East Asia. Changes in Japan's defense and security raised concerns of the international community that Japan will again be a power-hungry country. Meanwhile, the United States seems to have no concern at all. Contratry U.S became the main supporter of the United States in such changes. This paper will analyze the factors that may influence the decision of Japan to change the security policy suddenly. By using the perspective of decision making process , this paper will divide these factors into the internal and external factors. Internal factors related to the Liberal Democratic Party in Japan and external factors mainly concerned with relations between Japan and the United States.

Along with the changes of time, the social order is also change. One of them is the social order of women. This paper will discuss about the social change in the community, particularly changes of women’s role in the Middle Ages and in (after) the birth of the feminist movement that demands the equality between women and men. Despite the change of women’s role and status and the feminist movement has emerged in every single parts of the world, due to the limited resources, this paper will focus on the change of women’s role in Europe.
