inSPIRE: The Music, the Magic, the Mission.

Presented by the Confederation Bridge, Under the Spire is a summer concert series in a magnificent heritage church in idyllic rural Prince Edward Island. This structure was built for music by famed PEI architect William Critchlow Harris, who took his inspiration from the inside of a violin. Today, the exceptional acoustics in this French-Gothic building have gained an international reputation, making it a favourite for both performers and their fans alike.

Under the Spire attracts thousands of music lovers annually to the acoustically perfect Historic St. Mary’s. Our upcoming 2025 season will mark the 30th anniversary of our organization. This summer, join us under the stunning 120-year-old vaulted ceiling for some of the best in classical, traditional, folk, jazz and world music! We promise that you will be transported, moved and changed by an exceptional musical performance that will allow you to connect with the artist in an intimate and unique setting.
