12yo is in her bedroom right now, practicing her clarinet. I think it's the sweetest, silliest, squeekiest sound I've ever heard. I want to remember this sound forever. 12yo will either keep playing and get better, or she'll quit. Either way, this sweetness music of childhood will never come again. Some moments are just like that. We have to marvel at them now, when they happen. We only get the one chance.
