One of the saddest things about my job is seeing lots of young girls with fake breasts. Some of them are 18 or 19 years old. The dad in me wants to walk up to them and shout, "Go to your room, and take those things off right now young lady!"

Last night, 11yo and I dropped in at Ruta Maya. I'd planned on a short reading. The moderator rushed up to me, very glad to see me back. I told him I'd been in California and a bit about the Napa conference. He told me that the Ruta Maya Readings have been expanded to three hours. They now have half-hour slots for featured readers, and they want to add me to the fall schedule. I gave him my contact info. If this pans out, I'll let y'all know.
