The case will expose the students to health insurance packages and also allow them to use their financial analysis capacity. Further, the case will expose the students to negotiations that take place between insurers and the insured company, and how intelligent maneuvering by managers of the insured company can secure a better deal for the company. The case is situated in a Developing nation setting; so the practices by insurance companies, as far as group health insurance is concerned in such a setting, will also be exposed to the students. The case is aimed at intermediate level undergraduate students and beginner level MBA students.

The Company has enjoyed the leadership position in the market since the 1990s and has retained it throughout these years. In doing so, the company developed an unrivaled distribution system along with ensuring excellent quality and customer satisfaction. The strong presence of various local and multinational players has been a constant threat to Ispahani, but the company sustained its leadership position all these years by maintaining its loyal customers. Soon the domestic consumption would exceed the national production and the company would have to find out a way to meet the increased market demand by adopting various initiatives.

Turning a blind eye to the issues raised questions on the leadership abilities of the people at the top, and created confusion in the faculty members in their aspiration to grow with the institution. Even with changes in the leadership, no changes came to the institution that could really motivate the educators. Whoever came just either ventured to create a team of his/her own people, or tried to stay quietly so as not to come in harm's way. Most people with administrative power weren't willing to take responsibility for their actions, resulting in flawed or delayed decision making. Faculties were finding it difficult to motivate themselves to think their future with the University on a long term basis, and the management was apparently doing nothing to alleviate this problem.

E-Commerce has a chance to be widely adopted due to its simple applications. Thus it has a large economic impact. It gives the opportunity for " boundary crossing " as new entrants, business models, and changes in technology erode the barriers that used to separate one industry from another. This increases competition and innovation, which are likely to boost overall economic efficiency.

In this paper, we examine how various national institutions; intellectual property protection and individualism in particular, impact interorganizational trust and its benefits to alliance performance. We propose that the positive effect of trust on alliance performance magnifies under weaker formal institutional contexts. Further we propose that national cultural values, particularly individualistic orientation; diminishes the level of trust observed in R&D alliances across countries.

While doing so, I looked at the major journals in these two fields and presented four propositions that reflected both the combined findings as well as individual findings in these two literature. Although I expected more conformity between these two literature regarding this issue, the analysis did not reveal enough support for this expectation.

There is a serious lack of work in the international business literature that looks at the influence of entry mode on subsidiary performance. Thus looking at this issue merits attention. The paper specifically looks at the choice between a joint venture entry, and a wholly owned subsidiary based entry and provides a number of testable propositions.

Existing literature suggests that this area of international business literature is relatively understudied and reasons for conducting more research exist. In this paper, I test three hypotheses using a logistic regression model. More specifically, this paper looks at the role of contributed assets; and organizational learning and experience in determining the choice between greenfield entry and acquisitions. The results suggest that host country experience and past entry experience has an impact on the current entry mode choice.
