Re... more Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan literasi keuangan berdasarkan faktor demografi. Responden yang dilibatkan sebanyak 401 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner. Analisa data menggunakan crosstabulation. Literasi keuangan menggunakan perhitungan literasi keuangan indeks yang dibagi menjadi dua bagian yaitu literasi keuangan dasar dan literasi keuangan lanjutan. Faktor demografi terdiri dari faktor gender, usia, pekerjaan, masa kerja, penghasilan, dan pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pasangan muda yang memiliki penghasilan lebih besar diketahui memiliki literasi keuangan dasar dan lanjutan yang lebih baik. Beberapa hal menarik ditemukan terkait literasi keuangan lanjutan pasangan muda yaitu lakilaki yang lebih baik dibandingkan perempuan, semakin bertambah usia akan semakin baik literasinya, pasangan muda yang berwirausaha lebih baik literasinya dibandingkan pasangan muda yang bekerja sebagai karyawan, mereka yang memiliki masa kerja yang lebih lama dan pendidikan lebih tinggi memiliki literasi keuangan yang lebih baik.

Tujuan kegiatan abdimas ini diadakan adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada anak-anak asrama Th... more Tujuan kegiatan abdimas ini diadakan adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada anak-anak asrama Theresia Saelmaker agar dapat mempraktekkan penggunaan media sosial (medsos) secara bijak. Kegiatan dibuat dalam bentuk pemberian materi, diskusi dan permainan. Anak-anak asrama yang terlibatdalam kegiatan ini adalah 30 anak yang sedang menempuh penedidikan SD (3% anak di kelas 1 SD) dan SMP (97% anak duduk di bangku SMP). Selain itu, kegiatan juga diikuti oleh dua orang pengelola asrama. Pre and Post test dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuisioner kepada peserta kegiatan untuk mengetahuiperubahan cara berpikir dan pemahaman mereka mengenai penggunaan medsos secara bijak. Tingkat respon atas kuisioner adalah sebesar 96%. Ada satu anak yang tidak merespon poin pernyataan di kuisioner secara penuh kendati pada saat pengisian sudah dituntun oleh salah satu anggota tim pelaksana kegiatan. This research involves university lecturers in the city of Palembang. The snowball sampling technique was used in this study and a total of 153 questionnaire forms were returned and could be processed. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression and SPSS assistance. The results showed that financial literacy and income had a positive and significant effect on financial inclusion, while other variables, namely gender, age, and education had no significant effect on financial inclusion. One indicator of the readiness of SMEs in facing MEA is the application of standards. Standards are used as indicators because the government has established absolute conditions that SMEs must implement standards on products or on quality management. When it is not standardized, it will be difficult for every UKM to carry out export and import activities. This service activity was carried out with the aim of building awareness of SMEs on the importance of the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) in facing the 2015 MEA. In addition, this activity was also intended to assist SMEs in preparing the documentation and recordings needed for standard implementation. The expected final output is the SNI certificate submitted by UKM. This activity is estimated to take six months.

This research is attended to analyze market reaction to announcement of Golden Ring Award period ... more This research is attended to analyze market reaction to announcement of Golden Ring Award period 2008-2015. Indonesia Golden Ring Award (IGRA) which was originally called as GRA is a form of award for the telecommunications industry in which the assessment team consist of the journalists who are daily covering the telecommunications industry It used an event study methodology to empirically evidence. The research samples are focused on 6 telecommunication firms listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange with judgement sampling technique. The secondary data consists of daily closing price of shares and composite stock price index with an estimation period during 21 days by using a market adjusted model. Hypotheses are tested by one sample t-test, paired t-test and independent sample t-test. There is significant market reaction to announcement of Golden Ring Award. The second Hypothesis also accepted i.e. there is a significance in different market reaction between the firms getting Golden Ring Award and the firms not getting Golden Ring Award, especially in best operator category. Whereas in best value added category, market didn't show significant reactions. This result gives implication related to the efficient capital market Hypothesis i.e. semi strong form efficiency are proven.

The purpose of this study was to examine empirically the effects of entrepreneurial compe-tencies... more The purpose of this study was to examine empirically the effects of entrepreneurial compe-tencies and characteristics on business performance. Previous studies found that competencies and entrepreneurial characteristics significantly influenced business performance. A quantita-tive method was used and 122 respondents were involved as the sample in this study, who were pempek business owners in Palembang, South Sumatra. The results indicated an effect from entrepreneurial competencies on business performance. It was also found that the entrepre-neurs’ characteristics (owners’ ages) significantly affected the businesses’ performance. This implication requires some sort of course or program for the entrepreneurs to improve their competence to direct the owners to gain better business performance. To solve this problem, a Community Service Team of the Musi Charitas Catholic University initiated to make a clean water treatment equipment and provide a training for using and maintaining it, and introduced the importance using of clean water for health. This study aims to measure the level of financial literacy of lecturers in Palembang based on the... more This study aims to measure the level of financial literacy of lecturers in Palembang based on their income, education, and ownership of financial produk. The study sample was 153 respondents. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques and crosstabulation. Distribution of questionnaires with closed questions is done to collect data. The financial literacy index is divided into two groups, namely basic financial literacy and advanced financial literacy. The calculation for each variable is done using the simple weight method. The results showed that on average the basic financial literacy index of high income lecturers was included in the high category, while the advanced financial literacy index average was included in the low category for lecturers with income categories of less than or equal to nine million rupiah. UTAUT merupakan kombinasi delapan model user acceptance of technology yang telah dikembangkan sebelumnya. Studi empiris yang mengadopsi model UTAUT telah banyak dilakukan. UTAUT juga digunakan oleh beberapa peneliti untuk melihat niat dan perilaku pengguna teknologi informasi di bidang pendidikan. Karena itu penelitian ini juga dikembangkan dengan mengadopsi model UTAUT untuk melihat perilaku pengguna SIAK (Sistem Informasi Akademik) pada program studi-program studi keperawatan di lingkungan Universitas Katolik Musi Charitas. Empat konstruk dari UTAUT digunakan sebagai determinan yang mempengaruhi niat pengguna (behavioral intention), yaitu: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence dan facilitating conditions.
Populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif prodi D3 Keperawatan, S1 Keperawatan dan prodi Profesi Ners yang menggunakan SIAK. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada responden. Data akan diolah dan dianalisis dengan teknik regresi linier berganda.

The use of information technology is essential for the organization, because it can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of organizational performance. But it is not always successful. One of the critical success factors of the application of information technology is the attitude of the users who use the technology. UTAUT is a combination of eight models of user acceptance of technology that had been developed previously. Empirical studies that adopt the model UTAUT have been done. UTAUT also used by some researchers to look at the intentions and behavior of users of information technology in education. Therefore, this study was developed by adopting UTAUT models to see the user's behavior SIAK (Academic Information System) on-study program of nursing studies program at the Catholic University of Musi Charitas neighborhood. Four constructs of UTAUT used as the determinant affecting the intentions of the user (behavioral intention), namely: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions. The population of this study is active studentsof Nursing who use SIAK. Data were collected through questionnaireswhich are distributed to 297 respondents. The data was analyzed with multiple linear regression techniques. Testing indicates that the instrument used questionnaires are valid and reliable. The test results show that the classical assumption of normally distributed data and free multicolliniearity, but does not meet the assumption of heteroscedasticity. Hypothesis tests show that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating condition has a significant influence on behavioral intention.
