The research is about mapping interpersonal violence against women in the Nias District, North Sumatera. The patriarchal culture which has a hold in the area has significant effects on women. Using a social mapping approach and a feminist perspective, data in this research were collected through literature study, i.e. reports of service provider institutions on violence cases in Nias District, as well as observation and interview methods with local leaders in its ten sub-districts. The feminist perspective is useful to give voice to the unheard” female actors in a patriarchal society. Findings based on secondary data show that cases of violence in the Nias District from 2009-2016 fluctuated, with a total of 116 cases. The most frequent cases of violence experienced by women are physical violence, as many as 76 cases, sexual violence 31 cases, psychological violence eight cases and economic violence one case. This study aims to determine the factors that influence students in making their own decisions or being influenced by others in choosing the S1-Management FEB UKI study program. The sample in this study found 100 undergraduate-Management students, where the data analysis used Logistic Regression using a dummy dependent variable (own choice or influenced by others). The results of this study were that most of the respondents were female (71.0%), came from public high schools (61.0%), the respondents' parents worked as entrepreneurs (35.0%), the 2020/2021 class (23.0%), live at parents' house (49.0%), and choose to enter S1 Management study program FEB UKI (69.0%). According to experts, there were 2 factors that influence a person in entrepreneurship, internal factors, including demographics (age, experience, education), personality, motivation, and external factors, including family environment (interaction in the family and socio-economic conditions) and work environment. Therefore, the role of universities is needed to provide information, knowledge, understanding of entrepreneurship, and provide a forum for students to become entrepreneurs. Abstrak: Perempuan mempunyai peran yang strategis dalam pembangunan di Indonesia, termasuk perempuan di wilayah pedesaan di daerah teringgal. Strategi pembangunan perempuan di daerah teringgal dilakukan dengan meningkatkan partisipasi, supaya kesejahteraan segera terwujud. Untuk itu , perlu diberikan pelatihan pengolahan bahan-bahan lokal kepada perempuan. Perempuan saat ini dituntut aktif dalam pemanfaatan sumber daya lokal. The influence of entrepreneurship education has been considered as one of the important factors to grow and develop entrepreneurial passion, spirit and behavior among the younger generation. Their attitudes, behavior and knowledge about entrepreneurship will shape their tendency to become businessmen which of course will open up job opportunities in the future. People have reasons to become an entrepreneur because of the factors that foster intention in him. The purpose of this study was to determine the intentions of Faculty of Economics and Business UKI students in entrepreneurship and factors that influence it.
